Barbie Vacation Adventure

"Let's see how this game stacks up to Barney's Hide-and-Go-Seek Adventure."

Looks like Barney has a little competition for worst game ever...A Barbie game so bad that even my Barbie-crazy little sister thought it sucked. This is another one of those games I tried out just to see how humourously bad it was.

Graphics: (4) Although the graphics are almost average by SNES standards, the pink and light blue colour scheme is very bad, and Barbie looks uglier than ever. The backgrounds were decent, but after playing games like FF6 and DKC, I realize that the SNES can do a lot better.

Sound/Music: (0) Pathetic music that insults even Barbie and sound effects that would have been laughed at when ET was released for the Atari 2600 makes the sound and music in this game worthy of the big ol' goose egg.

Gameplay: (n/a) The ultimate insult. The gameplay doesn't just reek a la Barney, it's nonexistent and isn't even worthy of the embarassingly bad score I would otherwise give it. Basically, you walk around Barbie's house and look for presents while talking to her airheaded friends before Ken comes and drives you to different states in his car. You choose a US State to visit and play a group of mini-games, the worst being one where you have to find a farmer's pig and it ends up being right next to you. There isn't even a reward for suffering the torture of visiting all 5 or 6 States available. Overall, that lame soda drinking contest in Chrono Trigger's millenial fair probably had more a heck of a lot more time put into then this entire ummm...doorstop.

Challenge: (n/a) All I'll say is that the minigames are even easier than the train hijacking scene in FF8.

Overall: (0) Overall, this game is even worst than that stupid Barney game because it doesn't even deserve to be called a game. DON'T BUY, RENT, OR EVEN DOWNLOAND THIS ''BLISTERING BOIL ON THE BUTT CHEEKS OF GAMING.'' (Game Buyer Review Scale Explanation Section).
