"The Most Repetitive 16-Bit Game EVER!!!"
Introduction
Last Action Hero was a decent action movie in my opinion , but this game is just bad. Its not so good. My review will tell you how bad it is.
Story
Danny Madigan is a teenager who goes to the movies way to much. One day while at the movies while watching his favorite action hero Jack Slater he gets sucked into the movie and now he gets to be part of the action. The movie has a more story to it than that but thats what they said in the game. The movie story is worth a 8/10
Graphics
Not so great. Lets just say there just a tiny bit better than 8-bit Nintendo. There are many, many pxiles. The Jack Slater sprite looks nothing like Arnold. There are very few colors that are used many times. But if you have an emulator and the rom, you can get rid of every single pixil almost by using on of the filters.
Controls
Not the best. All you can do is punch, kick, jump, and press up to make elevators go up. The controls in the car levels are good but thats it. The European version has two more moves with the kick that can be useful. Its the same kick moves at the sega one. I have no idea why the American SNES didn't get the other kick moves.
Audio
The SFX are just plain out bad. But the music is good. The music tracks are short but good. The tracks do annoy people but I'm sure not for some of us.
Gameplay
REPETIVE!!! You do the same thing in all side scrolling levels 97% of the time. Punch and kick enemies. The best part of the game most likely is the car levels and thats it.
Overall 2/10
Don't buy it. Its really not worth it. They should have done a lot more with this game. The game gear and the gameboy games are better. Get those instead.
