Review by Civ Magirus

"One of the best Kirby games ever made."

Introduction :
Kirby's Dream Course! Wow, the first time I played this game I was about twelve or thirteen and I played it with my brother and sister all the time.

This game was one of the most entertaining games that I had ever had the pleasure of playing back then and it is still (in my opinion) one of the most entertaining games ever. Especially if you are a big SNES fan like I am.

Kirby's Dream Course is basically Kirby meets miniature golf. You don't walk around like you do in most other Kirby games (like Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Dream Land 2, Kirby Super Star, etc.), you pick your direction and then you hold down the A button to choose your firing power. When you attack certain enemies, (like in most Kirby games) you gain their special abilities. This is the most entertaining aspect of the game by far.

Gameplay: 10/10
The gameplay is unorthodox but very entertaining. Like I said before, it's not like any other Kirby game. It's kind of Kirby's answer to Mario golf. Kind of....

The gameplay is very fun and will keep you entertained for a long time.

Graphics: 9/10
The graphics get the job they set out to do done. The courses all are colorful and interesting; the enemies are easy to tell apart, and the backgrounds and a nice feel to the levels.

Sound: 7/10
For a SNES game, the sound is very good and won't get extremely annoying very quickly like other SNES games.

Control: 9/10
The controls in this game are great! With very little practice you can hit most of the shots you want to and with more practice you can hit the extremely hard shots later in the game.

Story: 3/10
It's the same plot to most Kirby games! Dedede did..... Something and you must stop him!

Not really much of a story in other words, but this game really doesn't need one.

Overall: 10/10 (non-cumulative)
Overall this game is just really entertaining. It's entertaining if you play it by yourself but it really shines through in its two player mode. It's very fun for younger and older gamers alike, (as long as the older gamers can get past the fact that they are playing a pink puff ball).

I gave this game a ten because, even though it has its flaws, it is still one of the most fun and entertaining games I can remember playing. I would definitely recommend the playing and buying of this game if you're sick and tired of the same old crap that the game companies are force feeding you these days.

Kirby's Dream Course proves that you don't need an X-Box's power to make a good game.
