"I would rather watch paint dry than to play this awful bastardation of Pac-Man"

Ok, we all know of Pac-Man and his Pellet eating adventures. We all know of him, and his classic spin offs, Ms. Pac-Man and Jr. Pac-Man (which were very good, by the way), but this game is absolutely horrible. So, let's get started!

Story: 1/10
Pac-Man goes back in time because some idiot named the Ghost Witch (WTF?) hates him and wants him to die. All the things in Pac-Man's environment are evil due to a spell by the Ghost Witch. Lame story.

Control: 3/10
The control is absolutely horrible. Pac-Man is slippery and the controls are a tad bit unresponsive.

Graphics: 9/10
The graphics are pretty good for the Super Nintendo, and Pac-Man's sprite has arms.

Music: 7/10
There are some very good songs in this game, others sound horrible.

Sound: 7/10
The sound is pretty corny, and the sound Pac-Man makes when dying will grate on your nerves, as you will die very often.

Game play: 3/10
It's the typical concept in the arcade classics; grab all the pellets to leave the stage. Pretty easy, right? WRONG! Not only are there Ghosts to deal with, but there are other enemies, the levels are a lot larger than the arcade levels, and the pellets are farther apart than the arcade. Also, you have a very low health bar. There are rarely any recovery items in the later levels, and in the later levels, there are enemies that are very powerful and take out a lot of your health. And the worst part is, there are no bosses whatsoever!

Difficulty: Very Hard

Replay Value: 2/10
You'll probably never make it to the end, and I only give you one more point because you'll probably try to hack in with passwords and crap.

Overall: 4/10

Buy? Rent?
Rent if you want to see how awful this game is. If you want a good Pac-Man game, play the original, not this crap. It won't grate on your nerves as much.
