Joe & Mac

"Mario brothers in a different time zone."

Joe and Mac is an extrememly fun game that could've been better if more time was taken on it,but it's good none the less.Joe and Mac is very similar to the Mario games except a few differences.1)not as much levels,2)you can have weapons,3)a boss in each stage and different time zones and names.That's pretty much the main differences between the two.I wish there was a game like Joe and Mac 64 now,but that is probably never going to happen.

GRAPHICS:(9/10)The graphics are very colorful and fully detailed.Each stage looks great.The setting takes place in the dinosaur age.There are many levels like caves and waterfalls and all look extremely nice and cartoonish.The graphics was a definite noticeable ascet in Joe and Mac.

STORY:(6/10)The story is kind of cheesy and no real point to it.Joe and Macs objective is to beat up bad cavemen and save a bunch of cavechicks.Joe and Mac are the pimps in the year 25,000,00 B.C.It's a unique storyline.

CONTROLS:(7/10)Joe and Mac isn't too speedy and don't have much hops,but they can still get the job done.The controls aren't too bad;decent.The configuration is easy to learn because it's like most other games on the SNES.

GAMEPLAY:(9/10)If you liked the Mario games then you'll like Joe and Mac too.Mario games aren't the same as Joe and Mac,but a little bit similar.Joe and Mac isn't as good,but have good ideas.There isn't a lot of levels in J&M,which sucks because it's so fun it should be longer.There are numerous amounts of item pick-ups in almost every level.
Here's how the game goes......you walk through the level picking up items and getting different weapons,defeat cavemen and then face the boss at the end,which isn't that hard.What else dod you except from an action/adventure game?
Joe and Mac is a very fun game,but if it was longer it might be perfect.

MUSIC/SOUND:(8/10)The music was very nice.Lots of catchy tunes in almost every level.The music displayed the setting very well with bongo drums and other instruments used for the music.There wasn't much sounds other than cartoonish sounds when someone or something died.

REPLAY:(9/10)Surprisingly it's also replayable.Because of its length you can play it as much as you want.You can play it as much as you want,but can get boring easily.

OVERALL:(8/10)Joe and Mac is a very fun game and should atleast be played once.
