"Taz sure loves those Kiwis!"

When you think of the SNES days, you think of Mario, Zelda, and...Taz? Well, Taz-mania may not be as good as a Mario or Zelda game, but still, it should be added to anyones SNES collection!

Gameplay: 8/10
You are Taz, your goal? To catch little kiwi birds and avoid getting captured by masked dingos, while running through all sorts of levels. It is more fun then it sounds. The whole time the camera is behind Taz, and your timed, so the levels are really endless. While running, you will come in contact with many creatures that will attack you, like the dingos, cars, little naked kids with arrows, a coyote, and Taz's mom. Before each level you find out how many kiwis you have to catch, and how much time you have. If you get enough, you get to progress to the next level! The gameplay is very fun, and will keep you occupied for a while. The only problem is that it may get a bit frustrating at times, because enemies seem to pop out of nowhere.

Graphics: 8/10
It looks like Looney Toons! Very sharp looking for the SNES. You won't really experience any technical glitches, which is a surprise. The weather also changes in every level, and the rain, or sand, or anything your up against looks nice. The problem is that the backgrounds of the levels look a little to pasted on, even though its the Super Nintendo.

Sound: 9/10
Wow, the music is amazing! Of course you have your Looney Toons music playing, but then every level has it's own music. The rainy level has a dramatic sounding music that just adds to the experience. Taz will also make funny sound effects, and whenever he gets hit, it's your basic cartoony sound. The sound will surprise you!

Controls: 7/10
The controls are alright, but their not perfect. Running is very simple, but after Taz gets hit, getting up may be hard and tedious, because he's so slow. You will have to button mash in order for him to actually get up fast. Catching kiwi is easy, but catching the birds may get annoying, because you only have a choice of two directions to look. The rest of the controls are good.

Value: 6/10
The game is not that short, but not that long, so it's the perfect length for a Super Nintendo game. The problem is that you can't save!!! So if you buy this game, you will have to play straight through without saving. After you beat it, you may only want to beat it once or twice again. It still is a nice addition to a collection.

Overall:
Pros:
-Great Sound!!!
-Catching Kiwi is fun!
-No Technical glitches!
-Taz looks great!
-Nice addition to a collection

Cons:
*Some frustrating controls
*Bad level design
*Sometimes enemies pop out of nowhere
