"Grab a bowl of Sugar Crisp and sit down for hours of cartoon fun."

The Ren and Stimpy Show: Veediots is a platform jumper that never became one of the most famous of platform jumpers for the Super Nintendo. However if you give the game a try you will see that it is just as good or even better than most other platform jumpers out there. The game environment comedy is top-notch. Where else are you going to see the crazy antics off an offbeat mouse and his half-wit sidekick so beautifully put together in one game? The comedy from the show is just so evidently gifted into the game itself. So grab yourself some Sugar Crisp turn on your game and get ready for some fun yet hilarious hours of crazy antics.

This game is the type of game that you can pick up on a day when your are not doing to great on your other video games and redeem yourself. Because the first level is rather easy and it succeedingly gets harder by the time you get to the second Episode you will have forgotten your troubles with your other games. There are several separate Episodes in this game. The Episodes are presented in a way that each Episode is easily harder than their predecessors. Fortunately the game is not frustratingly hard yet it does give you a challenge which will require you to hone your skills. The control of the game is that in which is seldom achieved... the games control is fluid and the jumps you have to perform are not hindered by the lack of control yet they are hindered by your lack of timing.

Having several separate Episodes the games story changes in each Episode. The Episodes story is presented before the start of each level so you do not necessarily need the instruction booklet to understand what the premise of why you are playing the game or what princess or village you are saving.

Because of the way the artists made the levels look by using the way the animators of the show drew their show this game does not boast the best graphics capable to the Super Nintendo. Despite the fact this is not the cream of Super Nintendo's graphics crop they make up for it in the sound department. Putting the characters voices directly into the game as well as sound effect pertaining to what is happening in the game you get a sense of feeling which only realistic sounds and the shows graphics input into the game can bring.

Getting through the game all in one sitting itself is a challenge, which you will need to be able to do seeing that there is no save feature or password option, if you are interested in beating the game. In lieu of that veterans of the game should be able to get through the game within two to four hours. Because of the fact that it is a tiresome feat to beat the game all in one sitting there is a large margin of replayability for the game once you shut the Super Nintendo off. Once you have beaten the game in one sitting it is worth replaying it to see if you can achieve or possibly beat your old score.

I recommend buying this from a friend or a used game shop if you see it for fewer than ten dollars. Unless your are a die-hard fan of the show or a collector I would not search high and low all over the Earth for it. However I would not return this game immediately if I had received it as a gift. My final verdict is buy it if you are looking for a good platform jumper but don't spend more than ten dollars for it.
