"Better than you might think."

I saw the movies and liked them, so when I saw this game cheap somewhere(for about 20 bucks), so I decided to give it a try. I am fairly glad I did.

Graphics(6.5/10)
The graphics aren't bad. The are about the usual Super Nintendo quality of 1992 or 1993. The background in the Hotel and Park tended to be repetive, the only differnece might be a different tree or bush or store here and there. The townhouse level was a bit better, except for the basement part of it; it was very repetive. The final level didn't repeat to much.

Sound(5/10)
This was the disappointing category. The music was pretty good, but it repeats and gets pretty annoying after a while. Then there were the weapon sounds. The dartgun and necklace sounded decent, but the flying fist and super flying fist gun sounded like farts. It got very annoying. As does the sound of Kevin's jump.

Gameplay/Controls(8/10)
The gameplay is fairly straight forward. You are Kevin and you must escape from the hotel, then from Harry and Marv. You must try to get back to you family. The controls are mostly the left, down, and right arrows and the A button. Kevin really just has to run and jump, except for the firing his weapons with the B button. If you are a novice gameplayer, the game could be pretty challenging at first.

Replay Value(4/10)
The replay value is quite poor after beating the game three or four times. Some people might even get tired of it after playing and beating it once.

Overall(7/10)
This wasn't a bad game at all; much better than I thought it would be. I wouldn't recommend buying it unless you see it cheap, but it is probably at least worth a rental.
