"Worst Mega Man in Series Yet!"

First of all, this is a horrible transaction from the NES to the SNES. I've been playing through all the Mega Man games and I've been loving it until 7. It has clunky controls, bad stages, bad gameplay etc. I feel like I stepped back into time to Mega Man 1. You have to face 4 bosses at first then another 4 after that. Also, they broke their tradition and has 2 bosses immune to 1 power making one boss totally useless. The bosses seem to have no thought into them. Junk Man looks like the terminator, Burst Man is a replica of Bubble man, Cloud Man is similar to air man, and spring man looks like an average enemy you kill with one shot. Also some of the bosses use similar stages from other Mega Man games. Like cloud mans stage was similar to Air Man's stage from Mega Man 2. Slash Man had almost the same stage setting from a boss from Mega Man 6. The game is starting to get un-original which is not good for future sales.

The Mega Man's just kept getting better until it hit the new system. It seems the Mega Mans restart to crappyness when it gets to the next system. Like when the series went to the PS2. Those games are still pretty bad. That store where you have to collect bolts through the levels is also pointless. The store is useless and nothing worthwhile to buy. You can only store 4 E's so you can't even stock up for Wily's Castle.

The only reasons I'm playing through Mega Man 7 is to advance the story line and to complete my Mega Man collection. Its like a chore going through this game. I DO NOT reccommend this game unless you are just playing through the story and nothing else. You get 0% fun out of this title.

Graphics: 6 out of 10
The graphics were alright considering it was an SNES game, but for an SNES the graphics could've been much better. The bullets were still crappy and the Mega Man model was off. The graphics are probbaly the second best feature of this game and thats not the best thing.

Controls: 1 out of 10
Oh how much more clunkier can you get on your controller. Mega Man doesn't slide right or is off. The jumping is messed up. Really hard to time your jumps and get through quick things. Controls really degraded in this game out of the series. When you go against Burst Man, controlling Mega Man around the bubbles is really difficult and it was hard to slide since Mega Man was usually delayed at it.

Story: 9 out of 10
This story out of the series is probbaly the best. Out of the other games they just kinda explained the story in the beginning and finished it at the end. This game actually had a story. Also, it is pretty cool that they have more activity with other characters like Dr. Light and how Dr. Wily gets his old robots. The story line is the ONLY reason to play this game.

Sound: 4 out of 10
Creatures and robotic foes from the previous Mega Mans usually have better sound effects and a musical background. This title uses the standard Mega Man music and doesnt introduce anything new into the series. Some kinda remixed versions of the old music but remixed badly. The creature sound were standard and some didnt have sounds in the game sadly.

Gameplay: 1 out of 10
Blah! Just blah! Clunky controls, bad bosses and un-amusing stages don't make this gameplay score go any higher. First of all, the stages, were horrible and used creatures from other games or used the same themed levels from other games in the series. The bosses obviously had no thought since there was a vampire and a chess rook that uses bubbles. I did like a couple of them but a couple were bad copies from other bosses in the series.

Please, for the love of your time, DO NOT get this game unless you are either completing a collection or you want to advance the story line. Hopefully Capcom would have realised there was a 20 foot pole coming out their *** and they will fix it up for Mega Man 8 hopefully reviving some VERY dissapointed fans that were looking for a good first game in the SNES series of Mega Man.
