"Best game for the Super Scope...period."

If you are one of the few owners of a super scope, or are contemplating whether to purchase a Super Scope, this will be worth it. Metal Combat-Falcon's Revenge is an exciting game that belongs in any SNES collection.

Story: 10/10.
This is a sequel. However, there is nothing missed in this game from the first. There is nice tutorial that teaches the player everything they need to know.
The story pits you into the future. The main attraction at this time is watching huge robots piloted by humans battling it out. As the player you are the shooter, and your partner controls your machine. Your opponents frown upon this style of 2 on one machine piloting because none of them have partners and you having an older model do not help either. The story starts of slow, like every other game, but evolves past any hint or expectations that original plot laid out. Each enemy in the game has a unique personality from the noble monk type to the rude and crude big guy.

Game play: 10/10
If you have a super scope, it is for the action. There is a lot of action to be found in this game. Every moment of this game counts because it is fast paced. Some of the enemies have multiple parts that shot simultaneous projectiles requiring the player to have quick reflexes to deflect and counter. The challenge is finding and exploiting the weakness of your opponents. This can be hard to actually hit the weakness, but when it happens, it becomes that much more fun.

Graphics: 10/10.
The game starts off with a tour of the earth, then a tour of the solar system. Each environment is done well. The enemies are done very well. The blast effects are nice to look at. All the graphics serve as a distraction because it is tempting to focus on them and not the action.

Music: 10/10.
The music in this game is fast paced and catchy. The music is great and may cause you to hum the notes to yourself when you are NOT playing the game.

OVERALL: 10/10.
This is one of the greatest games on the SNES. It has great music, great graphics, and great game play. It has multiple endings granting the player replay value. The most replay value will most likely come from a desire to defeat the enemies in record times after discovering their weaknesses, and the two player mode that allows another player to choose from the enemies found in story mode. If you ever see this game (make sure you can obtain a Super Scope) buy it!
