Hit the Ice

"great hockey game?"

First of all why is this the first view for this great game .this is made by Taito in 1991 for the turbo grafx 16 bit system. Ok this is a hockey title for people who like hockey and for people who like playing very basic control sport games. this is a great game for hockey standers and its fun.

Story N/A It’s a hockey game there is no need for a story and if there was it would be stupid. Simply put I rest my case.

Graphics 8/10 the players are pretty detailed the fans move and look good the ref. is great. There not much else it’s a hockey game so you see ice and goals. Fans trow stuff on ice while your fighting its pretty funny at some points of this game.

Music/sound 5/10 I think it’s a 5/10 because theirs no in game music but the title screen music is not that bad . The sound people getting punched and cross-checked sounds good fans cheer and boo accordingly.

Gameplay 10/10 this is its strong point its easy most, hockey’s games are not very easy smooth controls for players and goalie on the ice. You get very good with the controls fast pass ,shot ,cross check ,block punch .You can play 3 modes championship ,vs. play, and shot race. With your pick form 4 goalies and 8palyers on 3 on 3 battles on the ice

Difficulty 5/10 not the hardest game ever but it has its areas in it which gets hard later in to champ. Mode is were it gets the hardest playing against someone with equally skill level as you is always the great and hard in vs. mode.

Replay 6/10 good replay value against friends and family so you can get in fights and beat the crap out of them and to have fun games of hockey (oxen maroon).it does get old after 1to 2 games when you put it away for awhile. So its like most sports games in that area.

Overall 7/10 great game with little bad points in it a by for hockey infusionist and people who just want a fun game to play once in awhile just look on ebay for it and buy if its less than $20 bucks you should consider getting it.
