Asked on: 5/1 4:18PMWhat heck do you need ship missiles for beside to blow up the wall and if there is no other reason why are there upgrades for it? I say get rid of ship missiles and put power bombs back in.
Go to an open room on Bryyo (a room with the sky shown). Make sure there are none of those things that interrupt the ship visor. Go to where there are enemys and use the ship visor and lock on to their location.
If you are in a room where it can be used, the ship will bomb them.

I personally love the ship. In some places in Bryyo and other planets your ship can OWN all enemies. Trust me, it has saved my ass quite a few times. You only NEED it for the wall.
The ship missiles are a LOT more powerful than Power bombs (and I hardly ever used Power bombs anyways).
Sure, ship missiles are very limited in usage but then again, it's nice to see the ship do something else besides just sit there and provide you with a ride and restoration. I think Nintendo did that to mix things up a bit (and give the game a unique feature).
And yes, ship missiles, where they are usable, will OWN the enemy BAD.
Another place that you can use the ship missiles on enemies is if you return to norion, and go through the generator B access, (need to weld a panel next to the door) there is another landing site with hopping metroids that you can use the missiles on.
