Where can I find dragon balls?

Ive found the 1,2 and the 7 star dragon ball but i know u can only find it in the mini map during battle but i need to know if its possible for it to pop up in the map where you fly around to different locations?

I just need to know how to get the dragon balls i have the dragon radar.

The following is a way of quickly locating the Dragon Balls without spending time smashing buildings or boulders. The entire set of Dragon Balls may be found within the first four episodes of the Saiyan Saga, the very first story in Dragon Adventure mode. Follow the directions below to find the seven Dragon Balls. Note: You may need to re-enter the respective cities (yellow dots on the world map) a few times before the items appear.

7 Star Dragon Ball 00: Mysterious Alien Warrior - North City (Mr. Satan)
3 Star Dragon Ball 00: Mysterious Alien Warrior - East City (Yamcha)
6 Star Dragon Ball 00: Mysterious Alien Warrior - South City (Tien)
1 Star Dragon Ball 01: Kakarot - East City (Mr. Satan)
4 Star Dragon Ball 03: Gohan and Piccolo - Center City (Chiaotzu)
2 Star Dragon Ball 03: Gohan and Piccolo - South City (Satan)
5 Star Dragon Ball 04: Saiyan Blood - East City (Yamcha)

Answer

Dragonballs don't appear when you're flying around choosing a stage, they only show up when you've destroyed something in a battle. The best place to look for them is in the city stage as there are lots of buildings to destroy.
