How in start of game do i get to barn to throw grenade its only thing cant do to move on seems like cant get close enough?

reaper,chill out on the dude,jonser,stay beside Hux and throw the grenades in the barn.Its funny that it pretty much the only thing that shows significant damage in almost the whole game.
