Did anyone know if I can load a save file during the game? Say, when a character dies. I can load save file only when after the 'game over' screen or restart the game. Both method takes long time. I would appreciate an easier way to load the save file. Thanks.

No, there isn't a way to quickly restart, sorry. The fastest/only method is using the Wii remote home button reset.
