You can import every pokemon into this game, including the event pokemon, like arceus. The only thing is that you can't use those event only pokemon in online Wi-Fi battles. But in offline mode you can use every single pokemon, as long as his stats are legal.

statusActually event pokemon are allowed in wifi matches but only once the officil event has taken place so far only arceus isnt allowed.
I tried to enter wi-fi with a battle pass and it said I had a banned pokemon. It must have either been Lugia or that I had both Dragonite and Garchomp with Yache Berry. Are you allowed to have two pokemon with the same item.
There are few limits on what you can enter. If the pokemon does not have illegal stats/moves/EVs/items(key items, all berries are, to my knowledge, OK)/trainer info/ abilities, then it's good to go. You could even have 6 (Insert pokemon here) holding (Insert item here) if you really wanted.
