NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams

This one is, by far, one of the hardest missions in the game. There's not much to say, as the basic premise isn't very hard. You have to play the whole song- it's an endurance level. First, realize that you can't miss more than five notes. It doesn't matter if you're staying in the bar if you miss too many notes. Second, it's better to be a bit behind than a bit in front. The curve is misleading- it's easy to think you're inside the bar when you're actually ahead of it, whereas you can think you're behind the bar but actually still be in it. You also have a bit of give time between notes- you can stall to hit a high note, and then dash over to the next set without penalty. The last thing to realize is that it's a lot easier to hit the notes than you think. You can skim the top of the note and still hit it- you don't have to dive directly for its center. This is especially key during runs.

It's hard to beat- even harder to get a C rank. You'll need to score in around the 50,000s to do so. If you can build a note link, and keep that link in tempo, the Nightopians will start rising up on balloons to sing a background to the song- they'll disappear when you miss a note or fall behind tempo. Still, while they're there, you'll get uber points.

The main thing is to keep at it. It gets easier and easier with more repetitions, as you start remembering the layout of the notes.
