"The first DBZ game for the Wii. How does it stack up?"

Introduction- This is Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for the Nintendo Wii. Although it is rated T, I think it is appropriate for pretty much anyone who likes the show.

Controls- The controls with the Wii mote/ nunchuk do take a while to get used to. You will get used to them though. They are responsive however. There is a training mode to walk you through. If you can't get used to the Wii mote/ nunchuk controls though, you can use a gamecube controller as well as the classic controller. I give the controls a 7/10.

Graphics- I think the graphics are pretty good. They showcase the animations from the anime very well. There is reported to be a little slowdown in multiplayer with big characters like SSJ4 Gogeta ,and characters like that. However it is not a major problem at all and many people actually like the slowdown for the look it creates. I give the graphics a 9/10.

Gameplay- This game has great gameplay. It has many modes such as Tournament mode and Dragon Adventure. It has Z Attack and many other modes. There are RPG elements because you add Z items to your character. However it isn't anything really big and at heart this game is a fighter. You can do your special attacks and all of that stuff. (Big Bang Attack) I give the gameplay a 9/10.

Sound/Music- No complaints here. The characters sound like how they should sound. The music is nothing too memorable , but it is not bad at all. It is pretty thrilling to hear your character scream out the name of the special attack and then fire it. I give the sound/music a 9/10

Overall- As a huge fan of the DBZ anime/manga, I really love this game. Even for a non DBZ fan the fighting is still entertaining. However to draw the full enjoyment of the game, you really need to be a DBZ fan. Therefore my overall score for this game is a 9. Please enjoy this game and please take your time to learn the controls!
