GT Pro Series

"Two Wrongs don't make a Right Turn"
Most of you would think this game would be totally awesome to play with the Wiimote, well think again...
For some reason Ubisoft just didn't put to much effort into this game at all, just placed the basic mechanics of a racing game and adapted it to the Wiimote...
Graphics - 4/10
They just plain suck, seriously, even for the Wii's graphical capabilities the game looks like an early PS2 game, maybe even a N64 game. And in some of the tracks in the game are played during the night, and it makes it difficult to see the track at all because of the dark graphics, you just crash and crash and keep crashing until you finish the track or restarting the game because of the frustration this causes.
Controls - 7/10
This could possibly be the game's best feature, but still it isn't even decent. The controls can be pretty unresponsive at times, though it's pretty easy to handle, which at the same time doesn't make it much innovative.
Sound - 7/10
The soundtrack is pretty decent, not as good in comparison to Ridge Racer or Gran Turismo, but at least makes the ride a little more enjoyable. And the sounds in the game are also good.
Gameplay - 5/10
Basically it's just another racing game, you win races and unlock stuff. Though the car selection isn't too big it has some well known brand name cars like Mitsubishi, Subaru and Honda. The racing tracks aren't too hard to master after a few tries also. One of the few good things in this game is that you have the option for 4 multiplayer action, but as I said the graphics aren't great for this type of gameplay.
The Steering Wheel that comes with this game is kinda awesome, for an extra, though it clearly feels like cheap plastic, and it's definitely not worth the $50usd you're paying for.
This game is most probably more for hardcore racing game fans, and I would still recommend a rental before you make your last decision. Seriously, even though it's a launch window title, the game doesn't offer any type of satisfaction by playing it, and it's something Ubisoft is doing a lot lately on their games (with some exceptions). Lets hope Ubisoft does a way better job in the future.
