I am in love with this game, despite the horrible reviews. The control on this game is simply amazing. Arguably one of the best arcade style racer I have ever played. I am very picky when it comes to racing games. My favorite are Forza motorsport and GT4. This game definitely is different in a good way.

The control was shockingly hard for the first 5 minutes, but once I got through the beginner class. I can not imagine ever playing another racing game with traditional analog controllers. The control alone is worth the purchase. It is a shame that PS3 and Xbox 360 doesn't offer similar motion sensing controls. That is ok, I am still really looking forward to Forza 2 on Xbox 360. Can't wait ^_^

I am amazed by the horrible reviews that some of the magazines gave this game. I wonder do these reviewer actually spend time with the game before writing the reviews.

Graphics: 5 out of 10
Definitely low point of the game, PS2 Modellista quality, maybe not even that. Not as bad as many made it out to be.

Control: 10 out of 10
First 5~10 minutes might be frustrating, but once you spend a little time with it, you will be amazed by how easy it is to use the steering wheel. The learning curve is approximately 5~10 minutes for average gamer like me. The learing cruve is far less than RedSteel. I also love RedSteel btw (another game that got bad reviews).

Replay value: 6 out of 10
The championship mode doesn't seen very long, but it does have many other modes. The drift mode is very fun, it will make you want to beat your previous high combo over and over again.

Sound: 7 out of 10
The car sounds like crap, another low point of this game, really, worst sounding game ever. However the soundtrack, in game background music is awasome, techno euro beat. If you enjoy the music from Initial D anime you will love it. No nasty rap ricy music here.

Overall:
8 out of 10, I would give it 10 out of 10 if it had better graphics and Euroupean sports cars. Also need more tracks
