"Mario Kart Returns, This Time On The Wii"

Welcome to my review for the game Mario Kart 64 on the Virtual Console for the Wii. This is the same as the N64 but it is on another system. For those people who have never played this game before, it is about Mario and his friends who are Yoshi, Bowser, Wario, Peach, Toad, Luigi and Donkey Kong. They race in 4 different cups with 4 levels in each and there are 4 difficulty's
50 cc, 100 cc, 150 cc and the secret difficulty which is called Extra. Extra is the same levels as before but they are reversed.

The graphics in this game are superb and no doubt about it. The graphics for the racers is magnificent, making them stand out and looking like never before. The graphics for the courses are cool because they look so real with the sky, objects and road. A perfect example of a good race course is Bowser's Castle. Why I picked that? because it is very tense and you now when something is going to happen by looking at the walls.

The game play in the game is very good and has loads of fun in Single player playing by yourself or when friends/cousins are over, Multi-player is your choice. You must out of 4 races get the highest amount of points to obtain the Gold Cup. If you finish 2nd or 3rd, you are going to either get silver for 2nd and bronze for 3rd. For battle mode, you pick out of 4 courses to battle with your friends and the aim of the game is to knock all of the other peoples balloons before they knock your one down. Vs mode is similar to GP but it is just you and your mates who vs each other, up to 4 players.

Rent or Buy:
I recommend to purchase this game off the Virtual Console out of the games out so far as it is the best for single player and multi-player.

If you are a big Mario and Racing fan here is the game of your choice. It has tons of fun and Mario and his friends will make your time enjoyable. The best option is to bring your mates down and play vs mode and see who is the best out of you and your mates.
