Excite Truck

"Just by looking at the title you can tell, its super EXCITING and it has TRUCKS!!!"

GAMEPLAY 10/10: Overall, a great game. IT really uses the full potential of the wii remote to make it an overall great gaming experience. If all the other wii games are gonna be like this one I want em all. And the great thing is it isn't so much about winning the races. The object is to get tons of stars by running through trees, spinning in the air, flying through rings, drifting, combos, just plain getting big air, and my personal favorite smashing into people =).

Now to get into the details. In 1-p Excite Race mode you race against other computers on different levels (bronze, silver, gold, platinum). In each level there are 4-5 stages that are all around the world like Scotland and China to name a few. In each stage you have a certain number of stars that your supposed to get to pass that stage and advance on to the next one. Depending on how many stars you get. You get rated from d, c, b, a, and S. S is obviously the best. Once you get all S rank on Excite mode you can do Super Excite mode where it gets harder and then another harder stage after that. The next thing to do is Challenge mode. There you have to do certain things to earn rankings, again d, c, b, a and S. One is rings where you have to get just he right amount of air to fly through the rings. The next is gate mode where you have to go through an entire course while going through specified gates while not running out of time. The last, and my personal favorite, is crush where you have to smash into other trucks as hard as you can =). The last mode is Tutorial. You have to do the Tutorial before you can do any of the races. Like any tutorial it teaches how to play the game.

GRAPHICS 10/10: The graphics are purely amazing with great detail and even the little things like reflections in the water and on the car and stuff that most other games miss.

SOUND: 9/10: The sounds sound very real like you would expect stuff like crashing and engines to sound like. The music that it plays automatically isn't all that great, but you can take your SD card from your MP3 and play your music while your racing =).

CONTROLS 9/10: The controls are great because you can use the wii remote like a real steering wheel and actually steer the car. They are also easy to learn and use. There are however the occasional bugs where you turn the remote and it doesn't turn or you turn it one way and it goes the other but it doesn't happen to often thankfully.

REPLAYABILITY 10/10: You can play it over and over and over. even if you beat it you can just keep racing because it is just plain so much fun. You can try and beat your personal records like your highest air or how many times you can run through the trees and live. This game will just make you keep coming back for more.

Overall 10/10: This game overall si great as it is fun, exciting and you can just keep playing it. In terms of buy or rent I would say buy it if you really enjoy racing games. If racing games aren't your cup of tea then rent it and then if you like it buy it. The game is great fun for everyone and is worth every cent. I really hope you enjoyed this review and don't hesitate to give it a bad rating, but don't be to harsh this is my first =(, though I want to improve on my reviewing.
