Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII

Review by Madwii

"Stunning Landscapes and Immersive Gameplay!"

This game is stunning and impressive in almost every way. The landscapes actually bring you into the setting. The flight is thrilling with the Wii controls and if you don't like the controls you can change them to your preference. Blazing Angels is the first game of it's kind for the Wii and it's a good one. It's only flaw is it's repetitiveness and glitchy gameplay at parts.

Gameplay: Stunning, some parts can be challenging but isn't that what games should have, a challenge to conquer here and there. The missions are addictive and definitely amazing.

Graphics: Amazing, You immerse in the landscapes. The graphics are good for this generation. Believe me, I was expecting the graphics to be very poor for this game but this game definitely proved me wrong. In this game you are the captain of the Eagle Squadron. You get three wingmen in this game with their own special abilities one of which can repair your plane when it is damaged by pressing buttons ina small mini game. You can pick your favorite plane for each mission by unlocking them. Each plane has it's own advantages and disadvantages.

Music: The music and sound effects make the game what it is and adds to the immersing gameplay. The music puts you back in time to WWII.

Buy it or Rent it: I would definitely buy this one it is good all around when you want friends over to duel with in a dogfight.

Overall: It's a great game, definitely one that you would add to your collection. If your waiting for a big launch title for the Wii then get this game while you wait.

Replay Value: Very High, there are so many things you can do in this game, so many unlockable planes and awards it's not even funny. Believe me if your looking for a good flight game than this is the one in fact this is one of my top 5 favorite flight games right next to Secret Weapons Over Normandy.

I believe you'll like this game no matter what game genre's your into. This is the King of flight games because when you add the Wii mote and nunchuk to a flight game you get pure greatness.
