Scarface: The World Is Yours
Review by Landon
"You wanna' go to war!"
You got a war with Scarface: The World Is Yours! The hard hitting game that you have seen on previous systems is now back onto our little white box with lots of goodies! In my review I will show you everything you need to know about this game and why it deserves a 9 out of ten!
Gameplay- 9
Scarface brings gameplay to a whole new level! Instead of using your analogs, you are able to use a Wiimote and the nunchuck to blast your enemies away! Using the Wiimote to aim, shoot, duck and so much more you will feel like you are Tony himself. Shaking the nunchuck makes you taunt your enemies, driving and so much more! The only problem I found is that it's really easy to kill people(I can take out like 15 enemies in 10 seconds). If you like games with a great gameplay then choose this one for your next game.
Graphics- 8
Graphics have almost never mattered to me because in my opinion, gameplay over graphics. The game has some good visuals but it just doesn't seem to be top notch. You will notice that the bodies on closeups are not the best but they still look great!
Sound- 10
The. Sound. Is. Amazing. Wow, I love the soundtrack, the gunshots and the voices! They are simply awesome! Reliving the 80's isn't to hard when you have this soundtrack! An example would be "Push it to the limit" for a great song.
Story- 9
I actually enjoy this story. It takes place in Tony's mansion when Sosa sends his men after Tony. If you have seen the movie, you know that he ends in a not so good way but in the game, you live. You got to fight your way out of your mansion. So, the game takes place where the movie left off except you do not die. It all though, it's a great storyline with a lot of potential.
Replay Value- 9
To be honest I have not completed the game but I still find myself coming back to it. There is so much to do(take over stores, do missions, etc.) so it will be hard to get bored.
Overall- 9
You may be thinking whether you want to spend the extra $30 or so and that is totally normal. Just think about the pros and cons of each version. Do you want to use analogs and get it for a cheaper price or use the Wiimote but buy it at a higher price. Really, IMO, get the Wii version. It's altogether a great buy!
