Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Review by _Linkz_
"I will, have ORDER."
Dark and Difficult times lie ahead Harry...
Oh wait, that was in Goblet of Fire.
To continue his wizarding education, Harry enters his fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Having been made out to be some sort of delusional lunatic, along with Dumbledore, Harry is forced to endure taunts and sneers from his fellow school mates, along with the whole wizarding world.
Will Harry be able to convince the wizarding world, that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, is back and stronger than ever?
In Order of the Phoenix (OotP for short) you have the ability to play as Harry, Dumbledore, and Sirius, which opens up whole fields of experimentation and enjoyment.
GAMEPLAY (7/10)
The game itself, ranges from Easy to Difficult, mostly involving puzzles. If you have played previous Harry Potter games, you should be okay.
The game itself, is not entirely new, and by new, I mean, "NEVER BEFORE SEEN!" It's just a standard Platformer, with the magic world of Harry Potter entwined to make it so much more than a Platformer though.
Puzzles include Chess Competitions you have with a member of each house. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw...
Chess Matches shouldn't be too hard though, it's fairly straight forward, for those who haven't even played Chess before.
The best thing in OotP, is free range roaming of the wonderful Hogwarts grounds. Do and wander as you please, and feel free to waste as much time as you want. Take time to admire the beautiful scenery while you are at it.
MUSIC (10/10)
Have you seen the movie? Have you bought the Soundtrack? The Music in the game, is so similar to that of the movie, you'll just sit there, immobile for minutes on end, listening to it, and taking in the beautiful tunes.
CONTROLS (8/10)
The Wii, delivers a new way to wield your wand. Yes, as you predicted, the Wii-mote, becomes your wand. Wave your Wii-mote, like you would in the Wizarding World to cast your spells. Truly unique.
GRAPHICS (8/10)
As I said above, "take in the beautiful scenery". The graphics in the Wii version of the OotP, are not the greatest you've ever seen, but it still captivates you, and makes you believe you are in Hogwarts.
RENT or BUY
Buy for sure. You will want to play this game a lot, each time, doing something different, or just wasting time roaming the beautiful grounds.
Concluding words, if this is what they have done with Order, and that's just the fifth book, imagine what it will become in the 7th.
