"This game sucks... but best experience ever"

The Game

As a game this is pretty much crap. The Graphics could only be compared to a rerun of I Love Lucy, because it was a PS2 build so it looks like a 2nd generation PS2 game. Then there is the Pentium I AI, that is so stupid and always falls for the same tricks. If I fail at sneaking up on someone I could just run around a bunch and then hide in a shadow. They will eventually give up on their search and turn their backs to me. Giving me a chance to do what I do best. (well get into that later) The overall game play is repetitive and you are always doing the same thing while trying to fallow a rather lacking storyline. The controls are average even on the Wii ..(but I'll get to that in a sec) Even completing each level gives almost no sense of accomplishment. Since the game is all about sneaking in the shadows and luring people in and killing them … trying to straight up brawl with people is useless and you will die frequently if you are discovered in your sinister plan of mutilation, which leads to a huge problem with the game. You can't skip cut screens so you are forced to watch them over and over and over again.

And yet I love this game…………..

The Mood

This game is dark and sinister and just damn right evil. The methods of killing people are just insane. There are a number of executions that you can perform. Each weapon has its very own dark and evil way of murdering someone in a single blow. Then there are the Environmental executions which are even better. One example would be strapping a man to a chair and giving him a good trashing and then stabbing bolts through his hands. Then slowly sawing his head off with a near by cleaver. Trust me these executions are fun. And it is truly the Wii that brings them to life.

The Wii integrated movements really put you into this game. As I broke into the sexual deviates night club and slowly crept up on unsuspecting leather face while he was taking a piss not caring about anything (except maybe the extreme heat inside his mask) I got all excited that I was about to brutally murder him and half act it out on the Wii. Then with my motions matching those on the screen I bashed his head against the wall (a forward thrust of just the Wiimote) then knocked him down (a side swipe with the Wiimote) then picked up the Toilet Tank cover lid (a lifting motion with Wiimote and the nun chuck) and finally the bashing of his skull open with that lid (Violent downward trusts with the Wiimote and nun chuck)…..This game creates bloodlust and I almost understand it being banned at first and it still being banned in the UK.

In closing I love this game (and by game I mean tool to vicariously act out secret desires)
