Far Cry Vengeance

As for the history of the Farcry series I can say nothing because this was my introduction to it. But based on this game, I might look into the past ones based on this.

You would think that an action packed FPS would be tough to do in the Wii wouldn't you. I was very surprised. The controls were simple enough to stay alive in an intense 1v10 battle, but still know where your guns are and nail the bad guys. The levels were deep and well done. Good job to the developers. Not only that, but if you've got a stack of logs, and a large group of men at the bottom of the hill, and no bullets? knock the logs down. Fun, easy, and simple. You can also rip gun placements out and run around with those. The animation for that is well done as well.

The story. once again, kudos developers. It obviously is indepth because it goes over several games, but the story in this one game is satisfying enough to not tease you. I won't give it all away but you do get superpowers, I'll give you that. Alright I'll give you a little more. Your powers include running a LOT faster, jumping higher, detecting scents and climbable surfaces, and slashing people apart with your claws instead of a gun. You can also sneak up behind people and totally destroy them, with a flash of red and shriek that literally made me JUMP straight out of my chair the first time I heard it.

Normally I don't get that excited over the graphics section of a review, but wow. The opening cutscene was amazing, Great. Astounding. The other cutscenes may not be as well done, but they're still fun to watch and watch and watch. The blood when you tear somebody apart barehanded is not only well done, but sickeningly fun. The shrieks from that man are just as fun. The gun shots, the explosions are engrossing, and complete the experience. The graphics remain topnotch throughout the game, as do sounds.

The entire game took me about 9 hours to complete, but the replayability value is low. In fact, this is the only reason I didn't give it a perfect ten. I didn't get the choice to check out the multiplayer option due to the EXORBITANT prices of the Wiimotes but it's probably pretty fun.

I'll tell you this about Counterstrike, I'll tell you this about final fantasy, and I'll tell you this about any other game, before you buy, play a demo, watch a video, check it out at a friend's, but if you ask me, it was WAY worth it.
