Review by Zorken

"Another great game from Activision."

_Introduction_
Activision has once again released an awesome game, Call of Duty 3. This game focuses on D-Day and its surrounding missions, etc. You begin by stepping into a camp where you go through very minor training (how to fire a rifle with accuracy, throwing frag/smoke grenades, crouching/going prone, etc.), but then everything goes wild when you're on a truck going to your destination and suddenly the Germans bomb your area, killing one of your friendly soldiers instantly in the mortar blasts. It is up to you to save France and the rest of the world by playing through this challenging game.

_Controls_
Since it's on the Wii, you know you are going to get an extreme workout while playing. One thing in particular is when you're face to face with an enemy and you must melee with your weapon and try to prevent yourself from falling under the rifle and having your foe end up with the win (your death). You must hold the Wii remote and nunchuck a certain way and move it the stated way. It is life-like, as if you're actually holding the gun, which is what helps make this game so kick...yea. Of course, aiming and other actions are done by using the Wii remote, so precision and ultimate accuracy are paramount. It isn't that hard to get used to though, it just takes patience and timing, as with most games.

_Sound_
Great sound effects, especially the guns. Nice music too, the kind you would expect to hear while fighting the enemy.

_Graphics_
Very nice, and a lot of good detail on the cities, tanks, soldier's uniforms, etc. Very well done. Playing this game makes you realize how far today's technology has come when they can actually make every bullet wound so real looking, you almost literally feel it on your own body. That, in itself, is a reason to buy this game and cherish it alone.

_Gameplay_
Very challenging, and in some parts, REALLY challenging. Depending on your situation (number of ally soldiers, number of bullets/mags, number of grenades, etc), things can get very good or very nasty for you. It is best to stick with your platoon and try not to die or let your comrades die either.

_Buy or Rent?_
Buy it. It is a keeper.

_Conclusion_
Save France from the Germans. Do that now, and then think about why this game is so great. It is truly an epic classic already, along with its other chapters in the series. I give this one a positive plus. Enjoy.
