Madden 08 for the Nintendo Wii is a pretty fun experience for the whole family. It makes a great present for Dad's and other football fans in the family. Heck I never watch football and I am in love with it. But before I get into to much detail, let's start the review.

Overall 8/10
Madden 08 is a great game, and sure it has it's little problems, but their not big enough to cry about. Even though all the characters are the same height, the game makes it so they act as if their the height you set them too. Meaning if you made someone small, just because they look big the game still acts as if your small and makes you faster. Nothing to really cry about

Graphics 9/10
This game has superb graphics under Wii hardware specifications. Sure you look at the Xbox 360 and Playstation3 version's and see pure beauty. But you cannot expect nearly graphics as great as them because Nintendo focused more on entertainment then graphics. (good for you Nintendo remember what's important :) )

Sound 10/10
The sound in this game cannot be any better then they are now. Pre-snap you can hear the QB out of you Wii-mote speakers. Plus when you get tackled, if you have a good surround sound speaker set or other really good speakers, you will feel as if your in the game. Without the pain of the tackle of course.

Game play 9/10
This game's single player is great, especially the superstar mode. One of my personal favorites. Make your own superstar and guide it through their entire football career. I thought ya ya same old same old.Until I also saw that you have to control him in the off-season! That's right, you get to play the off-season. Pretty fun, not sure if it's new since I haven't touched 07 in forever, and after buying this you won't want too! The multiplayer is really great with party mode where you each choose a few minigames and try to do better the you friends. The online could have been better because some of the time you'll get a few people who you'll keep getting disconnected from. It's the game and not them. Even if you both have full bars in connection. Other then that it's pretty good. It also has 2 control types. For if your not good at shaking the Wii-motes and Nunchuck controllers you can go into family play controls where you just use buttons and not motion sensors.

In the end 9/10
This game has it's little bugs and problems. But what other games can you find your parents, grandparents, and other relatives huddled around the t.v. Sure their are some, but this one is certainly, without a doubt the best. I recommend this game for all family's who are looking for a game to play with each other, hardcore and casual football fans, and even non-football fans (as in you don't watch it. If you just hate it all together you won't like it).
