GT Pro Series

"Driving to Nowhere Fast"
INTRO
I used to like driving games, until I came across this game. This game had so much promise, but they tried to make it too challenging, and the end result is, it turned out too hard and frustrating. The other couple of WII games I played were not bad at all. I did not bother writing a review for those, cause they all ready had too many. In the early console games the GT series were very good. So I expect with this style of controls it would be awesome, instead it laid an egg.
GAME PLAY
The game play in the beginning is very nice. The unique controls are great. You tilt the remote to the side, and if you have the wheel to put the remote in it is even better. The response from the movement to the game is excellent. The problem is it gets almost impossible to advance after you get done with the easy series. It gets outrages hard. You miss one turn, or go wide a little bit, that means from you going from first to last and with no way to recover, you might as well pack it in and start all over. Now that is ridiculous. They expect you clear every level picture perfect, please. In this game you need to keep winning so you can get upgrades, unlock cars and advance, otherwise it's pointless. This is where this game goes from fun to annoying.
Another bad thing about this, when you do get an upgrade, it does very little for your car, unless you unlocked the right car. So you get the upgrade early, which is pointless, and have to wait later on to use it on another car, go figure. And why do they need so many different cars in this game, there is no reason for it, all you need is a bout 10 or 12, not 50. All this does is confuse you. Sorry guys, but you did a bad job here.
APPEARANCE
Out of the frying pan and into the fire. The graphics of this game I'm going to say are average, and I'm being generous. This looks like graphics out of the 90's, not the high tech powerful graphics we expect in this day and age. The only thing that looks decent is the screen where you pick your car and the garage. The driving area or the racecourse looks so blurry. I mean come on you must do better then this.
OVERALL
Sorry, but I did not enjoy this game at all. But I will try future driving games made by the WII, and hope they do it better next time. I can not give this game a high ranking, cause I did not care enough to finish it, or play it again after a couple of times I got frustrated. If you want to try your luck with this game, go ahead, but you been warned.
