"Much better than the original."

First off, let's start with a plot, okay? The famous blue hedgehog himself finds some sort of high-tech meteor thingy. And, when falling off a roof, he figures out it makes zero gravity, woah, uber cool right? yes, right. And, so, after this, you take some monotremes, and some birds, and stick 'em on hoverboards to race through buildings that just happen to have springs, rings, all that good sonic stuff, and a new feature! GP, or Gravity Points. You'll pick up GP inside a balloon, similar to rings. But, just what does GP do? GP can do various things, like make sharp turns (hold down 1 and turn), and cause you to fly through the air at... you guessed it, super sonic speed!

Although the story mode is frustrating, it's overall a fun game. And, for nintendo, the graphics aren't just off the hook, no, you can't even see the hook where these graphics are on a nintendo-based level. And the multiplayer modes have some neat stuff to. The shop has some sweet ew rides. And there's more characters than the original "Sonic Riders".

The only thing that'll tick you off is... the online play. Guess why? There is none, sorta. You can access records of the top players on a course, and play against their "ghost", which is a CPU, but they ravel at the same speed, do the same tricks, etc. as whoever's record it was. It's a nice feature, since you won't always be able to do as good as you did the time you got on the record, but, c'mon, nintendo's done real online play before, and this is just... blah.

The only other thing that made me mad, was, no new songs from crush40! I guess Jun was lazy or something, so nintendo and Sega just took the tracks from the original Sonic Riders, and whaa-zam, instant music.

In conclusion:
This game is one of my favorites. Probably the best I've played all of 2008. I'll compare with some math.

"Sonic Riders >> Zero Gravity" > "Halo 3"

"Sonic Riders >> Zero Gravity" > "NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams"

So, overall, BUY THIS GAME!!! BUY IT EVEN IF FOR SOME REASON YOU DISLIKE DISCOLOURED ANIMALS ON HOVER BOARDS!!!

And if for some reason, you hate Nintendo, and Wiis, and other awesome stuff, and thus, don;t have a Wii, I would buy a Wii just for this game, well, actually, I wouldn't, because I already have one XD, but, if you don't, get a Wii, get Sonic Riders >> Zero Gravity, and be happy. :)
