"Animal Crossing, to th MAX!!"

When we hear the words "Animal Crossing", we think of a game on either the DS or the GameCube. We think of a game which is about you, yourself, living in the animal world, living among your other animal friends, happily.
We think that, yes, the GameCube version was a good game and that, yes, "Animal Crossing Wide World" was a very, very popular DS game, and it gave Animal Crossing a good name and it made it a very popular game in, not only Australia, but all around the world.
If you haven't played this game, or you haven't got a Wii at all, I strongly agree that you get this game NOW. It is one of the best Animal Crossings I have played in a long, long time. I am a BIG Animal Crossing fan, and I have played every single Animal Crossing to the end, including Animal Crossing on the Nintendo 64, which only came out in Japan.

I believe that this Wii version is the best, because, well,

1. It has much better graphics than the past versions

2. There are new additions to the bugs and insects from the past versions

3. The museum has had a massive remodel and the exhibition rooms there are much cooler to view all the fish, bugs, fossils and paintings in

4. There is the city, which you can go to any time you want

5. You actually get your own separate houses. At the start of the game, you get to walk around picking which house you want to live in. There are four empty houses, which are spread out across the town. You get to pick which one you want without anyone arguing. So, you can decorate your house any way you want to, and pay off the mortgage any time you want to, and buy and sell stuff in and outside the house anytime you want to.

6. Crazy Redd's store is actually always in the city, on the very left hand side, so unlike in the DS version; you don't have to wait on a specific day for him to come to your town.

7. Dr. Shrunk is also in the city, in the theatre. You can go to the city every day, any day and get different emotions from him. There are only a few disadvantages for this. Firstly, you can only get a maximum of four emotions, so if you want to get another emotion and you've already got four, you have to delete an emotion to make room for the new one. Secondly, you actually have to pay 800 bells every time to get into the theatre to see one of Dr. Shrunk's shows to get his emotions. And thirdly, the puns and jokes that he throws at you at these shows are just so freaking boring!! But besides that, there is a good reason that you should go to visit him often, because the emotions that you get are funny to look at.

8. At the Shampoodle, like in the DS version, you can get your hair style changed by answering the questions that shop owner ask you. Sometimes you don't get the hair cut that you wanted, but what I do is just go on the FAQ's of this game and track it to see what hairstyles are what and what hair colours are what. Well, in this version, not only can you do that, but you can also get a Mii makeover!! It's true!! The owner will ask if you either want a new hairstyle or a new makeover. If you choose a new makeover, she will ask which Mii face you want as your own face. (Make sure you use your Mii, not someone else's) She will put the hair dryer on your head, and WA-LAH!! You got a Mii makeover. Personally, I think that it's a little bit weird, but the good thing is, it's free! And better still, once you do get your makeover, it counts as an accessory, so if you go into your accessory menu, you can take the ‘Mii Mask' on and off any time you like. If you want to get a different Mii face though, you have to go back to the Shampoodle, but give it a try and see for yourself.

These are just a couple of reasons why this Animal Crossing is one of the best Animal Crossing versions I have played. I think the staff that made this version has done a wonderful job in making this. I don't want to give too much away about this game, because it's fun to try it out yourself, and see what this game is like; learn all of its secrets and have a fun time in Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City.
