"Zp Reviews: Madworld."

First, Let me explain how this is going to work. Im going to review the game in four separate category's. Graphics, Game play, Story, Sound, and then my overall score.

Graphics-The first thing you notice about this game is its finely polished black and white graphics. The only colors you see in the game are red and yellow. Red of the enemies blood and yellow is used on the map to highlight points of interest. The game looks good. The environments. people, and weapons are all rendered beautifully. Unlike some other Wii games (You know who you are) This looks like its from this generation, not like a Nintendo 64 game.

Gameplay-Madworld is a beat em up hack and slash action game. The objective of a standard level is to kill enemies in the most stylish manner possible to gain enough points to face the boss. You can do this with items unlockable via points, your hands, chainsaw, and everything else in the environment. Once a certain amount of points are earned you trigger a blood bath challenge. A mid level minigame to score some extra points. There are other types of levels. There are motorcycle levels, and levels that are just boss fights. Standard levels took me an average of 12 minutes, and sub levels took me an average of 3 minutes. However there are plenty of cut scenes that take up a nice amount of time. The game only lasts about 5-7 hours. However there are challenges to do in levels and some things you unlock the first time around that should give you one or two more playthroughs.

Story-I won't reveal any details but I will say its good. There's a lot of winds and turns and it doesn't seem like an afterthought to the violence. I can't say much as the tiniest details are vital.

Sound-Well....There's a lot. You have the announcers making hilarious jokes, that you probably don't want any children to hear, The rap music which seams to fit in ever so nicely, and the enemies cursing your name as you cut off their heads. Overall the sounds good but it gets in the way when everything is happening at once.

Overall-I give it a 9/10. The sometimes annoying sound and length of the game keep it from the perfect score. I definitely say you should buy it though, its worth your time and money.
