"Tales of Symphonia 2 a great addition to the tales franchise"

The sequel of the gamecube game Tales of Symphonia was released on nintendo wii named Tales of Symphonia : dawn of the new World. I personally wasn't able to play the 1st game due to me not having a game cube console. But this game can be played without knowledge on the TOS. But still try to read some files so that you will have a background on the old characters that will be in - game.

Story: TOS: Dawn of the New world follows the story of a young boy named Emil who happens to grow up in Palmacosta. Then the city was destroyed by the man in red coat named Lloyd Irving. Meanwhile there is a girl named Marta who has a jewel on her forehead who is being chase by Vanguards, but was saved by a man who looks like Emil. That's where the story starts. The story follows the 1st game after 2 years of reuniting the world into one. Then disaster came destroying the flow of mana in the world. Then the story revolves collecting centurion cores in order to regain the balance of mana. There are many plot twist that creates interesting flow in story which will make hook you in the story.

Gameplay: This is a classic Tales of game. While there are some differences that separates it from other tales games. One example is being able to capture monsters that will aid you in battle. You use different skills in battle name here Mystic artes. The original cast of TOS will be able to join you but they cannot gain exp and you cannot change their equipment.

Graphics: The graphics is not that great but not that bad. Its a typical wii game with many colorful environment. Its nothing to brag at but they still get the job done.

Sound: The music for me is good. It has a fresh and new music. The voice over is done magnificently. But the music and sound gets a little repetitive after awhile.

Controls: It uses the wiimote nunchuck configuration. Eventhough its a wiimote nunchuck exclusive, there are only few events where you will use the wiimote function. But still they get the job done.

Overall: a great game for RPG lovers. If you are a RPG lover and manage to own a Wii its a must-have.

Story-8/10
Gameplay- 10/10
Graphics 8/10
Sound 7/10
Overall - 8/10
