 ----1. Introduction----
Hello, I am writing this FAQ to help out my
fellow PSO players better understand the PSO weapons
system. This FAQ should only be found at www.gamefaqs.com
and if it is found anywhere else, inform me immediately at the
email above. Thank You!

Version History - 1.0 (4/27/03) - Started FAQ.....was accepted on the
29th. Basic information included.
                           1.1 (11/30/03) - A lot of major changes. Changed
sections 2-3-4-5 and the look of it. I used tab in the 1.0 version (Big nono)
so it was really screwed.
1.11 (12/3/03) - Fixed some minor spacing problems. Added
stuff about my character. Expect the certain %'s on each prefix next
update.

 ----2. Weapon Prefixes----
When you find a weapon that has ???? in front of the
weapon name, you have a weapon with Special Properties!!!!!
That means it can do special and magical things like steal
enemy HP and add elemental damage! When you have the weapon
equipped, use the Extra attack command to unleash your weapons
special powers. To unlock your ???? weapon's power, you must
take it to the Tekker on the Pioneer II. He will tell you what it does
that is special. If you do not like what you get from him you can tekk
it multiple times and possibly get something different. For example:
If you have a ???? Saber and it becomes a Flame Saber when
Tekked, you can say no to the Tekkers analysis and tekk it again
for better %'s, Grind, and type. If you tekk it again it cam become
a Fire Saber or a Burning Saber. It will only move up or down one
level, so no your Heat Saber cannot become a Burning Saber.
The prefixes will be listed from weakest to strongest. The weakest
Prefix in a 4 prefix family (such as fire) adds 1 star for the weakest
ability (heat) and 4 stars for the strongest (burning). In the 2 prefix
family, the weakest adds 3 and stronger adds 4. In the 1 prefix
family, it adds 2. In the future I will add how much damage they
add and how much % of TP, HP, etc is drained with a successful hit.

 ----4. Grinding----
Grinding is simple. Monogrinders add +1 to your
weapon. Digrinders add +2 to your weapon and Trigrinders
add +3. For every (+1) on your weapon, you get 2 more ATP
on that weapon. It may not sound like much but with alot of
grinding, it makes a big difference! A Saber only adds 35 to
ATP, but a Saber +75 (its maxumum grind) adds 185! Thats a
big difference. Different weapons have different maximum grinds,
so experiment. I will list the maximum grinds for all the weapons
in a later versions. Another thing, all grinds are PERMANENT. And
some weapons CANNOT be grinded.

 ----5. Percentages----
If a weapon's name is in green, it has percentages.
These percents are in each of the 4 monster Types : Native -
Altered Beast - Machine - Dark. When you have a percent in one
of these, your damage against that monster increases. The
formula is roughly as follows.

Base ATP + Weapon ATP + Damage times % of final damage.

So if you attack a Booma (Native type) with a Saber with
+50% to Native, and you do 50 damage regularly. You would do
75 damage. Not bad eh?

I almost forgot about Hit% too. They add to your ATA. Lets say
your weapon normally adds 50 to ATA and i has 50% to hit, then it
would then add 75 to your ATA which can make a HUGE difference.
