Enemy List

Black Heth Thug- Standard bad guy at beginning of the game.

Jin'Ha Warrior- Power packed enemy with special armor.

Droid- One of many varieties of them.

Tactics

In this section I will list good tactics for beating the foes, both in
general, and specific.

Steal and Go- If an enemy has a blaster, steal it, and then leave them
be. This lets you keep some health, and lets you avoid combat. If there
were other enemies, and you spent time killing the blaster one, then
you will be ganged up on by enemies.

Steal and Hit- If you eliminated all enemies, but found one with a
blaster left, steal it, and then run up and hit him. In some levels,
this is required to progress. In others, it's just a good idea so you
don't have a distraction.

Push and Strike- In the swamp levels, push the Jin'Ha on to the ground
with the force push, and then go for a good strike. You can land many
hits on them before they get up, and it helps you clear the way.

Press and Strike- Slightly different, you need to be a good player to
do this. When in the way of many enemies, run at them, and then past
them. While you go by, swing your saber to the right or left to hurt
them, and then when you are by, some may have died.

Press and Back- Do the same thing as before, except when you get to the
other side, force jump, and hit the black button to turn around, and
land on the first side of them (where you previously were) and then hit
them again. When getting through, you may want to force push to clear
the way.

Strike-Screen 1- When facing multiple enemies with blasters, and either
assassin droids or Jin'Ha are in the way, let the blasters hit the
droids, and then they will get slight damage instead of you. This can
be useful, and allows you to strike without worry of any blasters.

Strike Screen 2- The second version is for the Jin'Ha and Black Heth
levels. When a grenadier is near many enemies, get close to the
enemies, and let the grenadier fire, and jump out of the way fast. The
weapons will damage the enemies, and will save you some time. After
this, you should home in on the enemies to finish them off.

Strike Screen 3- In the Naboo levels, when there are suicidal droids
near assassin droids, push the suicidals into the assassins, and the
assasins will take huge damage, and fall down. This allows you to
strike them, and not even take a quarter of the damage you would have.

Strike Screen 4- In Stowaway, in the generator room with all of the
explosives, let a droid hit the blue beams, and he will most likely be
killed in the explosion, allowing t you to take on the rest of the
droids fast and quickly. This will be a screen if you take cover near a
farther away beam.

Strike Screen 5- Whenever someone is attacking you with a gun, and
someone else has a sword, hide behind a crate, which is your screen,
and kill the guy with the sword. Then, throw it at the shooter, so you
don't get to close.

Strike Screen 6- When someone shoots at you, but several enemies are
there, relfect the bullets onto an enemy with a sword to take him out
first, and then go for the easier enemy, the one who was shooting at
you.

Hide and Distract- This requires you to go near droids unnoticed. What
you do is once you are well hidden, throw a grenade, and the droids
will move around away from you, and you can hit them from behind. This
doesn't always work.

Dodge and Turret- This requires you to dodge all enemy attacks, and get
out of their range near a turret. Mount the turret with Y, and then
fire at them by clicking the right thumb stick. This can deal much
damage, and can be using your own weapon against the enemy.

This next part is specific enemy tactics.

Black Heth

Black Heth Shooter
In order to take out one of these guys, you basically have to just
reflect bullets, or throw an object. These guys rarely come without
backup, so be prepared to dodge their attacks while taking everyone
else out. One light saber strike kills it. If there are multiple
enemies, than simply take your time, and reflect or strike one by one.
If you steal his weapon, he gets a dagger to replace it, which isn't
that hard to get by when hitting him.

Black Heth Clubber
The golf club wielder is very annoying, so you should take him out
first. It usually works to swing to your side, because he will try to
block an upward attack. If you find him grouped with several other
enemies, take him out first, because he can be a nuisance, and can
cause you to lose more life if you don't.

Black Heth Caveman
The one that shouts, "I'll smash your skull!" can be equally annoying.
Take him out after the clubber, because he does the most damage. His
attacks are very slow. There are two versions of this bad guy, a green
one that takes two hits, and the red one that takes one hit.

Black Heth Grenadier
This one throws grenades. You need to take him out last, because he can
kill his own kind with that thing, and it saves you time. Just don't
get in its way, and avoid the attacks, and most enemies following you
will get taken out by him. Once everyone or almost everyone is gone,
steal his grenade, and hit him with the saber.

Multiple Black Heth Tactics

Never lose sight on all of the enemies. They will try to hide and
attack, but if you keep a good eye on them, they are like ants to you.
Some of the later versions of this kind will take two hits to kill, so
never be thinking that you've beaten them all in one easy hit.

Jin'Ha

Jin'Ha Swordsman
Bringing back Zelda, this is one of the top enemies on the game. In my
opinion, he makes the game realistic because he blocks your attacks. To
counter that, force push him, and then strike as he comes up from the
ground. There are also some areas where you can toss him off a
platform, or into a cortosis pit, which kills him, of course. This
enemy racks on a big amount of damage, so you might want to kill him
first.

Jin'Ha Clubber
You have to hit this guy at his side, not form above. He is defeated
just like the swordsman, but takes a bit less damage to kill. His
attacks are a bit slow, but quite powerful, so he might be on your kill
list.

Jin'Ha Shooter
If you steal his gun, it will take only two hits form you saber to beat
him. He may come in sniper form, so be on the lookout when your back is
turned. Many people also prefer to reflect his bullet, and/or perform
the Strike Screen 6.

Jin'Ha Grenadier
Let him fire at you when you're near many enemies, that way you can let
him take out everyone at once. Go for him last, and steal his launcher,
and you can beat this guy with ease.

Multiple Jin'Ha

What you need to do is once again look out for the grenadier, and you
need to keep an eye on who is in front of you and behind you. Use the
force and to the side on the left thumb stick to sweep these guys out.

Battle Droids

Standard Battle Droid and Officer Droids
These guys are very simple to beat. Just hit them with the saber and
they die. If you reflect their bullets, the standard will go down with
one reflect, but the officers two. Some have swords, too.

Baron Droids
These are the dual cannon droids that shoot the grenades. They're very
short. To defeat them without taking all of that damage, you have to
get close, and they won't fire. Then, strike them a couple of times,
and they go down for the count.

Suicide Droids
These are the short little creature that yell terminate (The look like
the walking shells in Rayman 2) and explode when they hit something.
Either throw them into the enemies, or throw your saber into them.
Either one can kill them.

Destroyers
Strait from Episode 1, these things have dual cannons and a shield. If
you want, you can use ion grenades on them. The super force attack
works too, as well as running up and trying to strike through their
shield. Running away makes them curl up and roll to you, giving you
time to hit them before their shield goes back up.

Four Legged Droids
These are the ones that are monsters compared to you, and can be beat
with the same strategy as the Baron Droids. Get close, and then hit
them. n a matter of seconds, one of these can go down instantly.

Assassin Droids
When the Federation needed the cortosis, this is what they wanted it
for. These droids are just like Jin'Ha, and require the same tactics to
be beat.

Multiple Droids
For the Valuable Assisrance level, you need to know how to take these
out. Simply throw the blue explosives, use grenades, and use force
saber attacks. Throw items, and remember to reflect too. Don't get in
the Resistances way when they shoot or throw grenades, because it can
hurt you too.

Advanced

This is how to rate your skill.

You are advanced when:
You can beat many enemies at once, and want all of them to fight you.
That's right, every last one of them.
You want the Jedi Council to assist them in that action.
You are so good with the force you should take Yoda's place.
You know when to conserve force power.
You know every aspect of the game, including where the enemies hide.
You never scramble around looking for health.
You want me to stop giving away all of the good parts of the game.

These are special tactics chosen specifically for advanced players:

Charge Supreme 1: Instead of running form the enemies, you charge like
there is no tomorrow. Doing this, if you catch them off balance, you
can probably take them out at once.

Charge Supreme 2: Get a good distance from the enemies, throw your
saber at them to hit them, and run up to them, catch the saber, and hit
them all hard and fast. You mess this up, and you probably will die.

Charge Supreme 3: Do the same thing, except jump when catching your
saber, go into slow motion, and nail a jump attack followed by a force
attack.

Ram Supreme: Run to your enemy, and run into them. This has no effect,
but after you ran into them, you will be in range for a strike, but
they can also hit you. Jump over them, turn, jump again, turn, and
throw your saber. Jump, catch it, turn again, and if they're not dead,
force swing at them.

Intermediate

Rating:
You are decent at the game.
You find enemies aren't bad problems.
You've beaten the game once or twice.
You know most of the secrets, but still wonder about a few of them.
The informant level no longer scares you.

These are the special tactics chosen specifically for intermediates:

Swerve and Strike 1: Lock onto your enemy, and then swerve to the right
or left, and strike them at their side.

Swerve and Strike 2: Lock onto your enemy, and then throw your saber,
hit them, and catch, following up with a block and strike.

Swerve and Strike 3: Lock onto them, do the same thing, except this
time use a force attack after you throw it, and then follow up with a
block, and go backwards to stay on balance.

Swerve and Jab: Lock onto your enemy, and swerve to the left. Then
charge them, and do an upward attack, and as you pass, turn, swerve
again, and repeat until your foe is dead.

Beginner

Rating:
You just got the game.
The levels scare you.
There are too many enemies.
You can't beat the informant mission.

Tactics specially chosen:
First of all, see the tactics section.

Acrobat 1: Use the acrobatic button to dodge attacks, and make your way
through the level without killing enemies.

Acrobat 2: Do the same, only this time, throw items to clear more of an
area with fewer enemies.

Acrobat3: The same, except stop to get some health when you run low,
and reflect the bullets.

Break and slice: an enemy with a bat, club, or a crow bar, can die
easier. First, you find the guy with the bat (black heth member), club
(black heth member), or crow bar and do a double tap to the right with
the attack joystick. if the member blocked right, his or her wepon
should break. sometimes the guy drops his thing, or weopon. either way,
he barely has a weopon. now you can kill him or her way easier.

Sorry, but the tactics for the beginners are a little less, well,
aggressive, but they do work.
Super Tactics
Note that in this section, the tactics are named after the members of
the gamefaqs.com board users who helped me, or just became friends.

Willow Womper 1: This tactic requires precise timing. You first attack
one opponent, and the second you finish, turn around with the black
button while swinging, hit your enemy, and when they are stunned from
the blow, force swing again, and take them out.

Willow Womper 2: The other version requires you to fight a group of
enemies, but without the force attack. From there, you do one of two
things. If there are more enemies, and you have low health, you force
attack, then jump attack, force push, and charge them and finish them
off. If you have high health, you force push them, charge, throw your
saber, jump, flip backwards, get them chasing you, and then turn around
while using the force swing to take them out by surprise.Obi-Wan Kenobi
Pince (M-3): With this, you have to be very good with the saber, and
agility. Since there is only one of you, this is hard. You have to run
up to your opponents, attack, jump over, get them from behind, turn,
and turn again, hit them, jump over again, throw your saber, force push
them, charge, hit, jump over them, and kill them with a force attack.
It is very complicated, but is hard to defend, so it can work.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Pince (M-5): Do the same thing, except instead of
jumping, charge, and then do acrobatics, and don't swing at them from
behind, but do an acrobatic, turn, and then while you charge swing, and
then do the jumps as stated before. This creates a new balance of
tactics, and if you can dodge the counter attacks, you will prevail.

Quiz Kid Puzzle: You have to be able to confuse your enemies with this
tactic. First, you must run around your enemies as if you were herding
them. After a few laps, rush to the center, jump, land turn, and throw
your saber. Back off with acrobatics, catch the saber, charge halfway,
throw it again, and continue to run, catch it, and finish with a force
swing. If it doesn't get rid of everyone, charge the remaining enemies,
jump, turn, and then swing at whoever gets in your way. Flail around,
and concentrate on the last enemy. This is the only time you should
resort to being reckless, so have fun. Kill the last enemy however you
want. Quiz Kid Riddle: Here, you have to watch
the patterns of your enemy. What you do is you watch how they charge,
what their dominant hand is (block an attack), and where they charge
from. You are solving the riddle. If they are lefties, and charge from
the right, lock onto them with the right trigger, jump to the right,
and before they hit, either before them, block, or evade the attack. If
the are righties and charge from the left, lock on, swerve there, and
do the same thing. If a righty charges from the right, throw your
saber, lock on, swerve right, jump over them, and hit them. Same with
the lefties, except to swerve left.

Darth Maul 4 and Back: From the start, jump, retract your saber, land,
and use a force attack. The reason to retract your saber is that it is
more of a surprise to the enemy when it comes out, and then tend to
have a slow reaction.

Darth Maul 4 and There: Charge your foe, force push him, corner him,
and swing like heck. From this they may not attack as much, because if
you are furious when you see him, and can't control your anger, you
will be attacking him too much for him to counter. After a few swings,
back off, then, retract your saber, and throw any objects at him. If
there are none, don't retract it; just continue with any other tactics
I posted.
CJayC Swing and Slam: He didn't help, but I thought that he deserves a
tactic named after him. Anyway, what you do is you throw your saber,
slow down time, catch it, and watch your enemies. If they attack,
quickly jump, and then fall with a swing, followed by a charge, and
then jump, and swing from behind. If your enemy manages a hit, retreat,
then turn, start the swing, but jump before it hits him, land, and nail
him. If it turned out he was caught off guard expecting a hit, then
good. If not, follow up with good swings, and send him into the
gamefaqs.com banned user list.

CjayC Swing and Nail: Oh boy, your opponents better be looking out, or
this is an instant defeat for them. Charge, swing, turn, jump, turn
swing, force push, throw your saber, charge, catch, swing, and finish
up with cornering them and a slow motion final blow. They can be easily
defeated like this.

Supernova Neon- First, do the slow motion glitch, mentioned in the
glitch section. Then, as you are fighting, pick up a health pack. Jump
your enemy while you pick it up, turn, throw your saber, and then catch
it and strike. You will have glowed, and maybe taken out your enemy to
make it look cooler. Another thing to do like this are to throw, catch,
retreat, and while still glowing, charge and slash.

Super Nova Switch- This only applies to the level you and Qui-Gon are
both on. First, get your enemies; each of you should have one. Then, as
you fight, pass him, and let him take your guy while you take his. This
throws your enemies off-balance, allowing you to take small damage.

Super Nova SN Sneak Attack- First, hide from your opponents. If there
are two, throw your saber, and hit one, but remain hidden. The other
one may look confused or won't even notice. This is the chance to
attack. Hit the other enemy hard, and if anyone jumps you, use a force
and to the side swing while turning to cover a good amount of area.
This may not work if your opponent does notice, in which case, resort
to another tactic. You should always have back-up tactics.

BB Blast- Start by rushing your enemies, and then attacking, but
jumping back while throwing your saber. Catch it, then charge, jump
while swinging, purposely missing your opponent. Provoke him, then
swing hard. If he lives on, dodge his attacks, and wait for a good
opening, and finish him.

BB Bash- This time, charge your enemies, and then throw the saber.
Catch it, swing with a turn around, charge one enemy, and then take a
group out with a force swing. This may require back-up tactics.

Next Generation Warrior
You've achieved this rank when:
You want all droids to have DM's skill.
You want to the Qui-Gon missions by yourself.
You want to hijack the entire Federation craft.
You scream when machine-gunning enemies as if you were in Pearl Harbor
in WW2.
You use the force to use the controller, and turn the Xbox on and off.
You get hit and shout, "Bring it on!"

Xbox Generation Warrior: This tactic is for pure pros. You must charge
a group of enemies, but stay in the center of them. Fight each one of
them off, or two at a time. The trick is not to use force attacks, but
to make good use of the acrobatic button and black button. With those,
you can take out a group of enemies the quickest, and if you dodged
right, with little damage.

Next Generation Xcube2: To pull this maneuver, you have to be a skilled
fighter, and use the coolest looking skills. Charge the enemies, and
use everything you learned against them. Let them team up on you; just
use the slow time button to see when they attack. Basically, jump their
attacks, and use acrobatics in order to dodge the bullets. Throw any
object you can, and throw the enemies against the walls. This tactic is
best on the Jin'Ha levels, and is a good challenge.

Next Generation Warrior- Charge your foe, but jump them at the last
second. Get them to chase you, and when they get close, turn and swing
as fast as you can. Then, turn again, and take them out by getting them
surprised, however you like to do it. Block every attack they throw at
you, and counter with your own. If there are many enemies in the area,
then take them out one by one as best you can.

Next Generation Assault: First, you must have a good back up in case
this fails, and you get stuck. Charge a group of enemies, and take them
on all at once. Swing to the left, then right, then forward, and jump,
go back a bit until they follow you, and throw your saber at them. Then
charge again, and do a few force swings. This can be dangerous if you
mess it up, so always have a back up.
Back-up Tactics

These tactics are designed for when your enemy ambushes you, or another
tactic doesn't work out. Every attack should always have a back-up, so
be sure to remember these.

Xbox Volt and Jolt- This is pretty basic. When you are ambushed, change
to another tactic, and mix it up with this. First you jump, then land
and swing, followed by a throw, a swerve, and a force swing. Run from
your enemy, turn, and hit it, and then force swing the ambushers. If
they don't die immediately, then keep force swinging until they do.
This works well if battle droids call for back-up, throwing you off a
bit.

Mr. Elf- Say you couldn't distract a droid, and he attacks. What do you
do? Simple. You just calmly attack. But if there are many bad guys,
then you need different thinking. Since your cover is blown, you have
to take out many enemies at once. First, do half of one normal tactic,
and then a quarter of a super tactic. Then, force swing at the
remaining enemies, and take them out. Turn and swing in case you missed
any.

Lopper the Looper- With this back-up, you need to be quick. First, you
need to charge the center of the enemies, and then run to the outside.
Run in one circle around the foes, and then charge and force swing,
followed by a jump, and a hit. Then, go on the outside, and throw your
saber at the center of enemies. Finish off any lucky remaining bad guys
off with a good few swigs.
Glitches:

During Jedi Battle matches, you may come across some glitches. These
include

Dying without being touched
When you die, just standing there
Minor Lockups
Falling from almost fatal places and not loosing health
A special slow-motion glitch: In order to play an entire
level in slow motion, first push the slow motion button (force+white),
then throw your saber. When time re-vearts to normal, keep holding the
button, and when your force power drains to a little less then half,
slow time again. When the saber returns, it will sound as if it goes
back to normal time, but if you walk, you will see that throughout the
entire level, you will be in slow motion. To escape this, push the slow
motion command again.
