You might look at that rating and wonder a nine???? yes it is a nine, not a misprint. When you think of Scooby, you think of fun, childish stuff, but not this game, this is a true hardcore video game, which they managed to fit in scooby and the gang in the game great. Its a shame most people haven't heard or don't want to be bothered with this game. Its an action, adventure, platform game.

Ok, lets start off by saying this is not an easy game. Most people think they going to pick this up and wiz right threw it, guess again. It involves lots of common sense, puzzle solving, thinking and figuring little things out to advance to the next level. Even the replay value is good. I just put this game back on again, a year later. Please don't confuse this with Scooby Mystery Mayhem. These two games are completely different all together, nothing in common. And this one blows it away by a lot.

The format of the game is awesome, its just like the cartoon shows. You have a mansion to explore, with lots of rooms. Collecting objects and special equipment is part of the game. You have a graveyard with different levels to explore, and there is a scary pier or dock, with lots of things and adventures to do there, so in other words, you will be busy for a while. As you go further and further into the game, you will see the boards getting harder and harder. I had to come on line to figure out how to clear a stage.

The main story is you are scooby doo, and you need to find the rest of your gang hidden threw out the game, and shaggy helps you along the way. Even the monsters and ghosts fit into the story nicely. I almost forgot to mention how great the graphics and sound is. Its just like the shows you watch on TV, overall you can't complain or find a bad thing to write or say about this game, and even now, its about 20 bucks new, so you are getting your money's worth. I would like to see more people write reviews about this game, and let others know how good it is not be afraid it might be a children's game.
