Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

"Great Game/ Poor graphics"

First of all I'd like to say that the GTA series is one of the best in the history of the video game industry.The style and innovation of their games and the rockstar franchise is gameing in it's prime. So big UPS to rockstar games.

Plot (8/10)
The plot of this game is similar to urban hip-hop culture. Backstabing,guns,drugs,music,gangstas,ho's,and the struggle. In the game fresh from liberty city CJ comes back to hood only to that it is in shambles. Freinds become involved with crooked cops which leads to city terrying itself apart by base slangers.

Gameplay (9/10)
There so many things to do in San Andreas with over 100 main story mission and 300 mini-games San Andreas is a fun house. For example keep in shape with frequent visits to the gym ,go on a hot date. Play pool,basketball,shop,mod rides,or gamble tons and tons of different types of gameplay.

Sound (9/10)
CJ,Sweet,Smoke,Ryder,Tenpenny,Ceaser,Kendyl,Woozie,pedestrians,and many more voices in the game sound autheintic.Dalect and dialog is perfect voice acting in San Andreas. The music casting was phenominal 2pac,Snopp and Dre, Easy E, Kid Frost, Public enemy, Ice cube, NWA, all potray the gangsta lifestyle correctly in this game. Not only rap genre is resented in this game New jack swing,Soul,Country,Reggae,House, and talk radio personality are resented well. The only problem with the music is the user track player. In previuos two title you pick up on the music where you left of when you got out of the car but the auto tune negates that mistake by let you listen to the last radio station other than flipping through stations every time you switch transportaion.

Graphics (4/10)
The only downfall of this game is the graphics. Specifically charecters. Thers no detail at all on any person other than CJ an Ryder.Note:(CJ looks kinda looks like Dr. Dre it fatten up some and give a stash.) And theirs isn't even all that great. FINGERS PEOPLE WE NEED FINGERS ,NOT FINS FINGERS!!!!!!! To be the third game of a next generation series charecter graphics were a joke, I can seriously that GTA:III charecters look better and that game was done 5 years ago . Not as clean or smooth as I'd hoped. Even cut sceans and pre mission movies were horable. The cars were'nt as smooth as Vice City backlights are bad a the best, the smoothest ride is probaly the bullet. The vareity of enviorments and sceanery are amazing they ,have everything ecxept a tropical rainforest. I mean Urban innercity,mountains,hills,deserts,beachs,and the woodlands rolled into one.But even some of enviorment graphics seam muddy and undetailed. Mouths don't move when people talk pedestrians faces look like a blur.

Weapons and transportation (10/10)
The part of this game is weapon and transport choice. Vareity of cars and weapons is the biggest thing in this game. 30 different weapons in ten different feilds. Desipte choppy car graphics choice outweighs graphics, with god only knows how many types of cars,boats,planes,bikes, and helicopter.

Overall buy/rent (Buy)
San Andreas is a powerhouse. Bringing all of California and Nevada in one state Ghetto,Glits, and Guts in big package and for a resonable price. The birth thugs and urban gangs are represented the best I've seen in a long time. 1992 in full effect people.
