"It's huge!"

Just Cause takes place on a made up country that is made of many islands. The point of the game is to take down the corrupt dictator and liberate the people from his rule. You start the game parachuting from a plane very high in the air. Cool way to start a game.

Gameplay-8/10
This is a sandbox game. You can wander around anywhere you want and do pretty much what ever you want. You can do racing missions, collecting missions or liberate a town or settlement. Or you can just do the really cool stunts. You have a parachute that can be opened an infinite number of times, and you have the ability to stand on top of cars and other vehicles in what the game calls "stunt positions." From this position you can simply jump off, deploy your parachute, or even jump onto another vehicle. The stunts get even better after you get the grapple gun. This gun allows you to shoot a cord onto any vehicle and para sail or steal the vehicle. This is very useful for steal random helicopters, or just viewing the landscape.

Graphics-8/10
The graphics for this game are pretty good. The water looks nice and the weather system is pretty cool. Sometimes, when you fly, you can see storms in the distance while you are in sunshine. The game also has day and night.

Music-8/10
The music in this game is made up of callisto and of latin type music. The music fits the situations well and adds a nice flare to intense situations such as gunfights or trying to escape the police.

Overall
This is a very fun and enjoyable game. It may be a little short if you rush through it, but if you do some side missions inbetween it lasts for quite awhile. If you are on the fence about buying it, then rent it first. This is a great game that can entertain with just the stunts alone. There are many weapons to choose from and a huge amount of vehicles to use, and a insanely large amount of tropical land to explore. I think most people will enjoy this game. It provides a great experience.
