Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex

"We need more games like this"

INTRO
Crash Bandicoot has arrived for the xbox. Don't know much about this guy, never played any of his games till now. I have heard some good things about him. His game has gone to platinum hits, so I figured it couldn't be all that bad. After you play all the good games you like, then you start to run out of titles and try something different.

GAME PLAY
This is your typical solid action platform game. It has different levels with different boards in the levels. Each level is unique in its own way. It keeps your mind interested and keeps you from getting bored. The controls are easy to learn. Your jump, run, kick, and steering when you in a car. This is fun and addicting game playing. Must hand it to Crash Bandicoot, he know how to make a video game. Even the story is nice to follow alone too. Most of the time you play as Crash or his sidekicks. Now, let's get to the bad things. The first thing I want to say it is almost impossible to clear this game 100%. It's going to drive you crazy looking for all the hidden items in each board. Trust me there are many of them. The good thing about this, it's got good replay value. The second thing is the camera, you don't control it, and the game does. So all you do is follow the yellow brick road, simple as that.

APPEARANCE
Can't complain about this. It is truly amazing. This game has so many different scenery it's ridiculous. From the desert, to the forest, threw winter and futuristic areas. The background of this game is one of the best I have seen in a long time. Like before the bad thing is the camera angle. If you were able to control it you would have been able to see more of the open area. The sound effects and noise are nice too.

OVERALL
Not too many people know about this guy or the type of games he makes. I was one of them. He has other video games out too. Don't know if they any good, but to my knowledge they got good reviews. When I get a chance one-day I'll try them out too. But for now I am busy with this game, and have been for a while. Like I said before this has very good replay value. For now this game costs about 20 bux new, so you can't complain about the price. It is well worth it.
