"This game should be called The Imposibles"

To get or not to get? That was the question that I asked myself before getting this game. To think it over I went on to gamefaqs.com to read reviews on it. On;y two were there and neither one seemed to like it. But I got it anyway seeing that Iliked the movie.

Gameplay 3/10: It would seem that they put you right in to the fun in this game. But a few minutes of play and you see different. The fun is non-existent. Rather you get a mean headache. The first few missions are learning missions. Frozone is the guy that tells you what to do these first few missions. If you beat this game you are a video game freak. I got very far in the game and got bummerd out on it. This game just had to put a stealth mission on it. Everybogy hates stealth missions. All the levels take more luck than skill to get passed. Even with a walkthrough it is way too hard. It doesn't surprise me however. Disney has been known for games that are not so good. This game is not very much different. Mr. Incredible is the funnest one to be. The others are not played that much but that's ok. Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl are the ones that do the combat. Violet has one mission and is no fun at all. Her invisiblility only works for a very short time and works only from far away from goons. Now for dash. He has 3 missions. One has violet too but that is only her making the forcefield. The one with the force field is very fun. Dash is always fun to be. He never does combat but rather has to get to a certian place within a certian amount of time. Only one mission can you defeat goons. Violet make a forcefield and dash is in the middle rolling the ball into the bad guys. When you fight the big robots, it takes about a million tries but can be fun sometimes. Gameplay could be way better. But then again this is a Disney game so I would expect that.

Graphics 9/10: The graphics are just as good as the movie. But this segment doesn't change the fact that this game is way to hard. When your on the island with Mr. Incredible, the scenery is fantastic. Everything has been almost perfect on the graphics but has a glitch where when a lot of things are going on, the console begins to freeze up. That's it here.

Controls 10/10: These have to be the best part. What I love about Mr. Incredible is the fact that you can dodge roll. Very effectiv when fighting bad guys. As soon as you are about to get hit, dodge roll and you can hit them before they know where you went. You have what is called Incredi-punches. This causes extreme damage but can only be done a few times. Dash has the ability to go even faster by using a boost featur that comes in handy. Of couse there is the stretchy ability of Elastiagirl. Very usefull. Nothing else here to say other then the controls are everything that they should be.

Sound 10/10: The sound is great. Every so often the character will say some cocky statement. Sound is almost always perfect so not much to say here.

Story 9/10: If you have seen the movie (who hasn't) there is no problem here and you are exempt from reading this section. The game never explains project KRONOS. That is the only flaw but the game goes step by step through the story so you shouldn't have any problem.

Re-play 0/10: Not worth playing again because first of all you never will beat it. And second, even if you do, the game will be way too easy afterwards.

Buy or rent: Normaly I say buy a game. But this game say different. I would say don't even rent it. But certianly don't go and buy the game. If you know a little kid that loves The Incredibles, don't even think about getting it for them. This game will have them ripping there hair out in frustration.
