Fuzion Frenzy

"It's crazy, it's whacky, but it's not JUST a party game!"

The name of the game is parties, you know it, I know it, everyone on my block knows it, and frankly, you gotta have a good party game to have mega fun. PS2 doesn't seem to have party games that really grab you, and N64 and DC don't either. I don't know what they're missin. But I kinda get an idea of what it is. Somethin underrated. Somethin called, ''longevity''. Sure we got a thousand mario parties, what makes the new kid on the block so special???? Well Fuzion Frenzy, if it were called ''Black Toes Limbo Soup'' I'd still say that the game is awesome, because it's what on the inside that always counts. So let's forget the name Fuzion Frenzy. Although it's a really energetic name, and the game certainly lives up to its hype. The thing about this game, is it's a long sucker. You get playin it with friends and u just don't realize where all the time goes. Most of the time, if you're like us and have gone crazy over PGR for hours, you won't normally notice this fun game or what it has to offer. You have to get into it first. Unlike other party games by different companies, its not very hyped and not many know about it that much. The game has a pretty basic idea. The idea is to steal the other players marble balls and put them into your arena, called the fuzion frenzy. The player with the most balls wins, however it's more deep then that. How do u get the balls in the first place??? Well, you have to beat the opposition, in REAL GAMES. Not just taboo party favor games anymore that require one hit buttons. Real actual, living games, that are inside of the game, game. Confused now?? Sok, cause we were too.

GRAPHICS: 10/10. The graphics in the game are incredibly cool, everything is so colorful and alive, and if you got ur but pummeled in HALO and need to cool off while ur buds play it, this is a perfect way to do it. It's fairly complicated because the games require alot of action, and you have to accomplish tasks. You can see huge things like walls and the fast cars take a whole lot of detail and the presentation of this game is phat. Flat out the best looking party game ever. When you're following ur buds down those long tubes, you are almost completely flabbergasted because it's going so fast ur head is spinning. My friends little sister got gamecube and super monkey ball and that game is kinda corny. She came in raving about it and we were like ''get out of the way!!!!!'' I don't really like super monkey ball, and now that she tried to smash the xbox, i don't think im gonna. But it is more of a puzzle game. I tend to think of this game as something else.

CONTROL: 10/10. It's got probably the best controls ever, I really love how they mold into your hands after extended play time. It's so much easier getting used to it then N64 or PSX controllers cause it just kinda molds into your hands, and the buttons are placed right there for fast paced action. I love being able to almost completely kill my buds in this game. They'd fall right behind me and not even know what was up. I'd learned how to make the fuzion guy (forget his name) go super fast!!! That's another cool thing about this game. There are tons of powerups, and it requires lots of thinkin!!!!

FUN FACTOR: 10/10. All around it's gotta be the funnest party game we've ever done!!!!!! Because it requires that slight of hand, and ability to beat games, within games, and then receive special abilities from those games, to beat other games!!!! Even more confused now?!? hehe read on. One level has you playing in a marble madness world where you have to take the marble all the way to the top of the world, without falling, and all the time, avoiding your friends, who will put everything in your path. You have to use the terrain to your advantage, cause it changes!!! Then you win a special ability, so next ur racing through the sewers in minicars, and have to drag out and lure your opposition to the death. When they fall for it, you win another one!!!!! And then you have to fight in an arena, with all the other guys using hockey sticks, or somethin else. All the while you will be stealing the oppositions orbs, for beating their but in games, and taking them back to the main arena. When you get really far, it gets super hard!!!!! And there are no real shortcuts to this game, it's do or die, all the way. And if you are playin against noone but the CPU, its even harder, and even MORE fun. And you're gonna be doing or dying, depending on how you perform. For tricks you earn specialty points which allow you to unlock even more games, and finally, beat the master!!!!! Very neat way of doing things. By far this is the best party game i've ever played.

STORY: 10/10. You play a crazy little dude who has to win the world tournament, while collectin orbs. At first it ain't much, but once u get to the harder levels, it really draws u in. Don't mistake it.

SOUND: 10/10. The sound in the game is awesome, absolutely spectacular!!!! You can hear the little dude's voice, and he kind of makes it known when you are low on health or you're about to get clobbered by your buds. It's really funny too. The commentary gets downright hilarious sometimes, to the point u could swear the CPU had a dirty mind!!!!!! hahahahahahaha. this ain't no super monkey ball, so if you're a silly mario party/monkey ball/party game player you probably won't appreciate this. This game is so fun, and the amazing attention they do to voice over specific sounds is amazing. Turning up the blaster music you can really feel it pumpin, and u start to dance!!!!! It's got one hell of a mix. Now we just gotta use our own mix on it to make it even better.

Bottom line: If you love these types of games, Fuzion Frenzy is the game to own. And you won't be dissapointed guarantee it. And if you gotta bunch of buds, pick it up. Don't rent this, ever. lol. We tried and forgot to return it!
