NASCAR Thunder 2002

"Great Launch Game for the X-Box"

I strongly believe that this game is one of the best racing games that has been released for the X-Box. I played this game and raced at Talladega but I did come close to winning at the track but I had to go with a finish of 11th (of course that was on the demo). So far my best finish in the game is 5th. I know that the NASCAR Fans wouldn't be disappointed with this version of the game because when I played it at a store I just couldn't leave because I just couldn't quit playing it.

I was never (in a way) addicted to a game since Twisted Metal: Black which was released for the PlayStation2. I think whoever has the X-Box and wants a great racing game they should consider getting this game because I think it's one of the best racing games made or probably the best racing game that will be made for the system. I just can't wait to play the PlayStation2 version of the game. All right let's get to the scoring of the game:

GRAPHICS: 10/10
The Graphics of this game are very great. I know many people would agree that these graphics are very realistic. Tiburon really has done a great job of making this game look as realistic as they can and the same way with their other games.

CONTROL: 10/10
The control of the game is very good. Of course some people might complain about the control of the cars for PlayStation (PS One) version of this game but the X-Box version the control of the cars is much better of that of the PlayStation (PS One).

DIFFICULTY: 10/10
The difficulty of this game is great for a new system. I know that it might take a while just to catch up to the person in front of you. I have to agree with most people that have played this version of the game that it is one of the best NASCAR games made (probably besides the PlayStation2 version of the game).

SOUND: 10/10
The sound in this game was done quite well and the sound in the previous Nascar titles have been suitable for most Nascar fans to appreciate but the sound in this game is much better than that of the previous Nascar games that EA Sports has released for any console (including the PC).

OVERALL: 10/10
Overall I think that if you want a great racing game for the X-Box this is one of the best racing games that I have played so far. This game is so hot I bet there are some people that will be hooked to this game because this game will not disappoint the average gamer. I suggest if you want a great racing game, here's my advice go out and buy the game because if any NASCAR fan like myself really enjoys this game any NASCAR fan will like it themselves. If you really want a great racing title for your X-Box you should see about getting a copy of Nascar Thunder 2002 for yourself. There are a few features that are in this game that can make some of the other NASCAR games look silly. This is definitely a great Nascar game that EA Sports has delivered so far.

RENT or BUY

If you are wondering if you should rent or buy this game I would suggest that you rent the game first and see if you like the game. If you happen to get hooked to this game you should really get this game. There are people who got this game and really like it very much because they know how to get into this game.
