"As with all party games, this one gets dull quickly"

The party game craze has been a brutal one to live through.... because all party games are riotous fun for about 5 minutes. This game continues that tradition of crap party games.

Story:
You and a friend or 2 can play the competitive mode where you earn points to prove that you're the best. The best of what I don't know. Maybe it is a sad tryout for a American Gladiators rip-off that is pending.
Story gets a (0/10 for the lack of one.)

Visuals:
This is a mixed bag. The backgrounds and scenery is nice, but the athletic morons that you play as are too damn small considering the big stage layouts. The character design also sucks in this game, they all look like deformed robot rejects from ''That 80s Show''
Visuals gets a (3/10 because the stages are way too large to be able to see you lilliputian characters unless they're in a vehicle of some type.)

Music:
Ummm, was there music in this game? The announcer was way too loud and talkative for me to be able to hear any music.
Music gets no score because of that loudmouthed announcer talking all the time.

Sound Effects:
The voices of the characters and announcers were annoying to say the least. The announcer's voice sounded like Wally from Dilbert's Desktop Games and was VERY loud. The characters themselves all sounded like they talked through a voice box because they smoked too many Camels.
Sound effects gets a (0/10 because of that obnoxious announcer.)

Gameplay:
This is by far the worst thing about this game. All the events were like I said earlier, modernized rip-offs of anything on American Gladiators or Battle Dome (which sucked). In this one event you had to brutally beat your opponents and steal crystals from them to have them hang out from your butt. Now doesn't that sound fun? The control in this game is also sensitive. The slightest tap of the D-Pad will have you running, which sets you up for a can of whoop @ss from your opponents.
Gameplay gets a (2 out of 10 for having a fun event, but it is damn near impossible to beat CPU controlled opponents.)

Replay Value:
None, this game sucked to start with. As with all party games, you'll be bored to tears after maybe 3 go arounds in this game.

To rent or buy:
The party game genre is popular for some unknown reason. If you really do enjoy this sort of game, then I highly suggest you rent first. If you are indifferent or hate party games, then just dance to some Real McCoy music at your next party instead of playing this game.
