"The Best football game for the X-Box"

This is my first review, so bear with me.
This review is being written because of two things: for all of those people, like I was, who don't know which football game to buy, and because one hasn't been written yet. So I will be comparing NFL 2K2 to NFL Fever and Madden 2002 constantly. Like most other reviews, I will break it down into 5 Categories: Graphics, Controls, Gameplay, Replay Value, and Overall(but you already know what that score is)

My friend Isom will be putting in inputs as we go along, they will be in double parenthesis.

Graphics: This game has the some kick-ass graphics. Besides the glitches that come with every football game(like the ever-so popular jump ten yards to tackle a person, or the even more popular football just coming into your hands from outside of your hands) this game is practically perfect. I own this game for PS2, play it with my friend on Dreamcast, and own this game for X-Box. The X-Box has the best graphics out of all of them. They are smooth, and the weather, O THE WEATHER! The rain fall, and they effect the gameplay, but I will talk about those later. The faces change in looks, and there aren't the glaring eyes like in Madden. The special moves look really cool, especially the spin move. My dad walked in and asked me if I was playing!(but my dad is crazy at times) Although the graphics aren't quite as good as NFL Fever, they are really quite good. ((Really good, but at times look strange and distorted)) 9/10

Controls: Just what you would come to expect. They are simple and effective. Simple buttons to do motions that look so damn cool! Passing is the same as in every game, push a button to hike, another to see the receivers, and push the button to the corresponding receiver to pass to him. This is fine, and I don't see how it can be improved upon. ((Controls are really difficult to master, especially for somebody who doesn't know how to play the X-Box))(As you can see, we disagree on that, even though he doesn't own an X-Box(unlucky sonofabitch)9/10

Gameplay: This is where the game starts to shine. There is a perfect blend of simulation and arcade. Some people would contest this in saying that it is too arcade-based, but that's just the way I like it. In Fever, the developers tried to make it arcade-like, but failed(I traded in Fever for 2K2, so I don't like Fever too much), and Madden is too simulationistic(is that even a word?) for me. ((Isom got bored with this and went to another room)) 10/10

Replay Value: Like all sports games, there is almost infinite replay value. For those people who don't like sports games, they shouldn't buy them in the first place(humph!). NFL Fever is too easy, you catch every ball, and on hard, you can't do anything. In Madden, on All-Madden mode, you have no running game. if you are touched, you are tackled. Even if the other teams' finger touches you, you have to break the tackle. But in 2K2, your team's goodness varies. For example, once my defense sucked ass, but my MLB had 12 tackles! This would not happen in either of the other two games, they are too statistical(Is that a real word??). 10/10

Overall: This is the best football game on the X-Box, and the best game for it in my opinion. The blend of arcade and simulation are great. The graphics are solid, and the gameplay is great. I give it a 10/10, and Geesh call(inside joke)
