"Tight! Sweet! Whatever you want to call it, this game is fun."

This game is ''TIGHT!'' says Beat, Yoyo, Gum, Corn, or any other members of a gang called the
''GG's.'' And I can't blame them. Save the soul of the city, and have a blast while you do, in
Jet Set Radio Future, a fun inline skating game, and one of the best games on the Xbox. JSRF also really
shows the amazing power of the Xbox. I doubt parents will care about the graffiti in this
game, but they will care if you take it up yourself. But does a parents eye matter on a video
game? No, not really. Well, at least the fun factor of a game. Anyway, Sega has done a
terrific job on this game, and is on my top 3 favorite games (until Robotech and Fellowship
of the Ring comes out) and it should be on yours too. Why? Well, keep reading!

Graphics
I haven't ever played a game with Cel shaded graphics, which give the game a little cartoon
type look. JSRF uses Cel Shading, and uses them very well. Besides the Cel Shading, the
buildings and cars, even the people look very real and are fun to look at and skate on (which
you do a lot of in this game.) You notice that when you get a ''Graffiti soul'' the camera zooms
around you kind of Matrix style. Very cool, especially when you do a backflip or method and
grab it in mid air.

SOUND
With 30 tracks, and all of them are long and cool to listen to, you will not get bored of these
songs for quite a while. Which is plenty enough time to beat the game. While this game doesn't
have music support (let's you play your own tracks on the Xbox hardrive) you can change the
music volume to mute, or extremely loud. Same with the sound effects. The reason I am giving
this score the score I give it, is because of the characters sound effects. Whenever you do
something, your character will shout: Yeah!, Tight!, Sweet!, Cool!, Ha ha!, etc., and it
eventually gets on your nerves. It isn't that bad, but it deserves a
7/10

GAMEPLAY
Well, this certainly deserves a high score, because it is FUN. Yes, a game that is FUN. Not
like Metal Gear Solid 2, where you watch yourself not play the game, and then win. You play
with little cutscene, and 97% pure action, compared to MGS2's 10% pure action. The reason
it's fun? Fast, extreme, cool action, grinding on whatever the hell has corners, and spray
painting your own designs, or get graffiti souls so you can get expertly done graffiti. It
rules. No doubt about it. So many street challenges, and so many characters, and races and
such, you will be playing for a long time, and have fun all the time you do.
9/10

CONTROL
Devil May Cry like controls, which are easy to use, and easy to do whatever. If you haven't
played Devil May Cry, then imagine whatever direction you push, is the direction you travel.
Really easy to jump, boost, spray paint, and do whatever. When making your own graffiti, you
can choose the density of the paint by pressing oh-so-hard on the right trigger, which means
that the spray paint all depends on your sweet touch. It would get a 10, if the direction
on the graffiti maker wasn't so weird and hard to make really cool looking graffiti like the
pros (yes, there are pros.)
9/10

STORY
Well, I'm not going to say the story matters, but at least it has one instead of just playing
like a mindless drone. You are a group called the GG's, and you try to save the soul of the
city. How? By defeating the Rokakku police, and eventually beat the man who tries to take over
the city itself. If I wanted a great story, I would watch a movie, read a book, or play an RPG.
Not action games.
5/10

REPLAY
You will play this for a long time. I just got it last week, and have already booked 25 hours
into it. And I doubt I will stop playing anytime soon. Actually, I know I won't stop anytime
soon. It is that cool and fun to play. Kind of like how DW7 has that simple spark that makes
it fun to play, you know?
8/10

OVERALL
Well, time for the final score. With the graphics, sound, control, story, replay, and
gameplay itself making this game good, it has no cutscenes, which make it even better. I will
say it now: Cutscenes suck. They ruined Metal Gear Solid 2, and I can see why. You don't play.
It's like playing an interactive movie. So, there isn't much left to say, except it gets...
8/10

By the way, if your parent's are tight asses, better not play do graffiti when they're looking,
huh?
