Bruce Lee: Quest of the Dragon

"Overhyping a game kills the goodness ...."

Hi , i'm Matt Rocker from the Xbox boards ! I was bored , and wasn't happy with some Xbox games that were coming out soon ( I mean like next month ) . I read the reviews on IGN and GameSpot and they gave Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon scores under a 4.0. Now most would say heh I am not buying it !!! But then I thought , and thought , and said how bad can a game be? I have never played I totally didn't like. I loved Simpsons Wrestling and that got a 1.0 from IGN. Go figure ... So I took it upon my own will to beg my mom for a new video game and from the wide selection , I picked Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon , and here's what I think about the game.

Presentation

Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon has great box art ! It shows the legend himself ... Bruce Lee ! And when I turned on the game I was stunned with the tight intro of Bruce shadow fighting on the beach ! Then the title screen is great ! Full of options ( which I will get to later ) , and a nice looking title . Overall Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon has one hell of a presentation.

Graphics

Now this is what I heard was bad about the game !!! IGN said the graphics could pass on the N64 ! Now they may not be Halo but theese graphics are very nice for an xbox game and fit a game like Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon very well. I didn't notice any flaws other then some very minor things someone playing wouldn't even notice ! Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon has very good graphics.

GamePlay

This is my personall favorite part of Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon. The gameplay is great ! You have an enmney lock on system and can whipe out multiple enmneys at one time with one move ! It's great ... the controlled path makes this game easy to focus on taking out the opponent , and not worring which direction to go to. Bruce Lee has 150 moves ! Enough to take out any opponent(s) anyway you want !

Lasting Appeal

Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon has lot's of lasting appeal because you can keep ranking up , and keep making your hits stronger ! So once you get your hits very very strong the game will be a meir walkthrough ! This is great and I can tell you one thing ... I will keep playing this game as long as I own an Xbox.

As I said befeore many people were expecting a game that just isn't comming. The same thing with WrestlemaniaX8 for GameCube ! Bruce Lee : Quest of the Dragon is a great game and is my favorite Xbox game to date. I recommend that if people want a good quality game and like martial arts and like the legend ... Bruce Lee then get this game. Don't listen to reviews from biased people ...

Rent or Buy : Buy !
