Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions
Review by HIT
"Graphics are good, but the game is too short"
I've heard about Wreckless lots and lots of times before. I never got a chance to the game, though. Finally, I rented the game. I thought it was an awesome game because my friends told me to buy it and I didn't.
They drove to Electronics Boutique. My friends got home pretty fast and played Wreckless. Man, in my opinion, it sucked. I watched them play for about three hours and they beat the game. My friend got pretty mad because he bought Wreckless, so he exchanged it.
After my friend bought the game, I was thinking if I should buy it, too. So I rented the game. I was so excited to play the game. When I first played it, I was very disappointed because the graphics are good, but it wasn't all that fun for me.
GamePlay
I played the game for about 10 minutes and it got fun. There was only 10 missions in the game for each scenario. You could change the traffic from light to heavy and change the difficulty to easy or hard.
The controls are pretty good to me. The left trigger is brake and the right trigger is to go. First, I didn't get the hang of the controls, but after you played this game for about 10 minutes you will get the hang of the controls.
Story
As I said before, there are 2 scenarios. You could play as the two police cops or the two spies.
Graphics,
The graphics of the game are very good. The water effects are also good. After you beat the game, you get new camera filters. That when you can change the setting of the different colors. The stores outside of the city are beautiful and in the night there are lots of lighting. Also, there is a cool thing. When a part of you car comes out, you will be able to see it again when you come back to look for it and it won't disappear.
Sound
There is music in the game, but you can't put your own music in. I think that's the downfall of the sound. The city is like a real city with different should that you could hear. Like the horn that the cars honk at you, or when you block traffic.
Replayability
Once I've beaten the game, I didn't even touch the game after that. I think that this game is a one time playing game. Sometimes you could replay the missions that you thought that was fun to you.
To buy or to Rent
In my opinion, you should RENT the game.
