"Great game...if you have friends!"

Fusion Frenzy is a multiplayer game for Xbox owners. The game is set in the future that people compete with each other to become number 1. FF is aimed mostly at a minimum of 2 players, if you dont have friends, dont buy this game. Its super-uber-duper boring to play this game on single player. Its like playing chess by yourself.

This review will be broken down into several small bits so that a fair score and be achieved.

Graphics: Aww, what would the almighty Xbox be without graphics? FF has dreamcast (particularly power stone) graphics. Which means, dont expect anything like Morrowind's water, or Halo's bump mapping. The game is made for fast furious fun, not jaw dropping eye candy. Just play the game, in other words. The graphics are sharp, clean, and crisp. The game does a good job of panning out the view when players are streched across the screen.

Score - 7/10 Not too great for an Xbox title, but good enough for a launch title. Average at best.

Gameplay: Like I said earlier, if you have friends, the game will rock! The more friends you have, the better. The only downside I can see is that if you are playing this game for more than an hour, you seriously need to find another game to play. Once the first hour sets in, you will already have mastered the simple games. So grab Halo and blast away.

Score - 5/10 Not a single player game. Not much fun after an hour or so.

Controls: Many people have made fun of the Xbox's controller size. But once you start playing with it, you find out shortly that the controller is made perfectly for games like Halo and Amped...but not for FF. You see, most games only require 2 buttons: the A and B. The rare game _might_ need you to use all four...rarely. I wished the game included some kind of taunt feature so that it would make use of some buttons or somehow incorporate the trigger buttons since they are pressure sensitive.

Score - 3/10 Uses very, very little of the buttons. Some games require akward hands placement (the music game if there are TWO notes).

Sound: The music is alright. The only downside is that there isnt any custom tracks you can rip to. Not much to say here, just that you should be paying more attention to the game than the music

Score - 6/10 Average at best.

Overall: This game is a good 'filler' title when you have friends coming over and want to take a break from Halo. I would recommend this game if you can get it at a discount price, its just not worth being paid for full.

Score - 7/10

** Overall score is not an average
