Test Drive

"Great soundtrack along with a great game!"

I was expecting a lot from this game when I rented it because of its great lineup in their soundtrack which includes: Ja rule, Bubba Sparxxx, DMX, Saliva, etc. So now that I have played it a lot heres what I think:

Gameplay: The gameplay in this game isn't that bad but it's not that good either, the menus in this game do get confusing when you're playing it for the first time.The controls for this game are rather average for a racing game and I have no complaints about that except that I couldn't find the skip track button, so I paused the game and looked for it in the options but it wasn't there! I still can't find the skip track button and the manual doesn't help that much either. That was my only complaint about the gameplay and it was pretty much unnecessary. 9/10

Graphics:The graphics for this game aren't spectacular but they are good enough for me! The cars in this game do look great but some of the backgrounds in some tracks don't look like it's an Xbox game! But when you get deeper into the story mode the tracks do start looking better! If you're looking for a great looking game like Project Gotham Racing you won't find it here. 8/10

Sound: The sound in this game is amazing! I love the soundtrack, It has all the great hits of this year! I rented this game for the soundtrack alone, It adds so much more to the game! I'd go far enough to say that it's my favorite soundtrack of any game! Its perfect! 10/10

Story: Most racing games don't have a story mode and it's mostly going from city to city, this game does have a story mode but its not that good. You get paid to win races but I'd rather have a dumb story mode than no story mode! 9/10

Rent Or Buy: I would say buy because I rented this game and am looking forward to buying it so don't waste the extra $5 like I did! I would say its one of the best racing games I have played in a long time! BUY

Overall: If you have ever seen the movie ''The Fast and The Furious'' and liked it then you'll love this game! They should have called this game ''The Fast and the Furious'', It's a must have for any racing fan! Belive me it's worth the money. 9/10
